The only way new quests could appear is whenever Bethesda makes a patch and decides to add a new quest or something, games cant generate quests, i mean just think about it. A quest takes a long time to make and is very scripted with certain events meant to happen. Terrain can get generated (such as in the case of The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall), but not quests :)

For one, i was really excited when you decided to get on the main quest track, but it sucked when you immediatly got sidetracked. I say just stick with a few of the main quests. Also, that super awesome blacksmith is in Whiterun, just look for the giant fucking eagle statue. Hmmm... oh also, just try and lose that disenchantment addiction :p

Hey Phil. You can Level up blacksmithing quickly by mining or buying iron ore/ingots, and then buying or making leather straps, and just smith a ton of iron daggers at the forge.

Similar thing for enchanting. take those crappy iron daggers, use the petty and lesser gems to give them a valuable enchantment, like Paralysis or Damage stamina, and then crappy dagger becomes worth like 500 gold, and you gain XP.

@DSPGaming Phil once you get to Solitude ask the barkeep in the local inn about rumours of a mad man wandering near the Blue Palace (also in Solitude), it leads to a hilarious quest with an amazing reward and an achievement.

Also keep an eye out for Sam in any of the local inns wanting to do a drinking game, you've seen him once and you missed out on another amazingly hilarious quest.

two things.....you should not disenchant things that u can sell for a good amount of gold, as gold is more important at this point for multiple reasons. also, don't waste gold on smithing training, instead get a bunch of iron ignots and use them at a forge to make a ton of iron daggers. this will lvl ur smithing skill VERY fast and also lvl ur character up as well. and u can then sell the daggers back to the blacksmith for more cash. hope to see ur skyrim videos up again soon!!!

He said he'd try to do as much as he could in this game. Take a look at Fallout New Vegas. He did as much as he could there. Its not that he doesn't want to, but that he wants to keep moving to keep up with all the releases that come out.

As far as fast travel goes though, he's just not the type of player to do no quick travel runs. I personally don't, but Phil uses it in games that have it. To each his own.

Horses die pretty quick so it's really a waste of money. If you do the Dark Brotherhood missions you can get Shadowmere who is a BEAST and does massive damage and regenerates its health. It has like 3x the health of a normal horse. Unlike in Oblivion however it's not essential and can die but still it's an awesome horse. It's eyes glow red
