Sasuke does seem like he hates Naruto, but look under the surface of the fighting. Their fighting means something all in itself. The fighting is the way they bond. They are true friends. Sasuke just is blinded by the want of power and revenge to see anything or anyone even his best friend.

Naruto is the one who brings the fight out of him, whereas he doesnt give anyone else (especially the girls) the time of day. Plus, I dunno how it works in Japan, but you do NOT lean over inches from someone's face staring at them (for 15 seconds while Naruto was unconscious!) and still be 'just friends'.
@kkstealth actually, he wanted to kill Naruto to gain the mangekyou sharingan, but he couldn't go through with it. To gain the mangekyou sharingan you have to kill your best friend, thus proving that he knows that Naruto is his best friend. Just sayin'
