  • I saw the end of this on TV last night. My feelings on the bill are, that it also violates the 13th Amendment. By that I mean "Involuntary servitude". I would have to work X amount of hours to buy something I do not want. (at this point in my life) But I'm no constitutional scholar.

    "Nebraska Compromise".... Reminds me of the "Missouri Compromise" We all know what that lead to... BTW I <3 Texas. South Padre Island is the best! Thanks for the post & greetings from Missouri :D

  • I am glad to see the issue of Constitutionality discussed. Both sides of the aisle have been using the Constitution as a doormat in my estimation. Too broad an interpretation of the general welfare clause makes the Constitution a blank piece of paper. I recommend the book "Nation of Sheep" by Andrew Napolitano.
