I give up trying to get the green star on this. Ive tried for a day and then I tried the method in this video. I always fuck myself over somewhere.

Did it :D Took a while cause I kept making stupid mistakes. The standing on the edge of the block bit is actually about the easiest bit. I do it almost every time without even trying. You should give it a go before disliking it and passing it off as a very hard to reproduce glitch. Not to discredit sheepdude though, the strategy is incredible thinking

LOL, this video is ridiculous. Blocks That Matter fans, what you see in this video cannot be done, hence the number of Dislikes. Anyone that goes for anything beyond a Yellow Star needs to get a life.

Is that some bug that you can place blocks midair? At 0:40 you clearly place blocks all around you while standing on nothing

@madcroc111 There's a really small area on the edges of blocks where you can stand but are still considered "on" the next block over (this is how you can jump up past a block that would otherwise be immediately overhead, etc). It looks like he just happens to be on that corner.

Still trying to reproduce this, myself - this is my last 1%! This one's the hardest task in the game, IMO...

@apocalyptech If you are just looking for the %, you only need to achieve yellow star on this level, which doesn't require climbing up through the falling obsidian blocks (as the green star does). Just grab all the blocks, then come back the way you came, and you will need to leave behind one block as a platform, giving you enough for yellow.

@sheepdude860 Yeah, I realized that after failing on the ascent at the end there. :) I maintain that the various steps leading up to that part are still the hardest to pull off in the game, though. I definitely wouldn't have been able to pull it off without your video. Thanks!

@madcroc111 No, just stand on the right edge of the block. When you enter puzzle mode it will move you to the adjacent block, hence you will be "floating". If you exit puzzle mode in this state you will fall, but I've cleverly put myself in that position to put blocks where I need them to be, and underneath me so that I am standing on something when I exit puzzle mode.
