So I've always wanted to know... just what are all those audibles in the ES Cadence? Whenever we march out for a retreat with them, we always tried to pick up on a little bit more of it. But in the years I've been doing this, I don't think I've figured out every single audible & hand gesture. If somebody from ES can help out, that would be awesome. And if it's something super secret (ala Splooie) I understand. I just get hyped up when they troop the stands playing that. Pretty hot.
Some of the things we say are: "Put the Lime in the coconut and shake it all up", "Who, Whos your daddy?", "Bang!", "Kick it!", and a bunch of various yells and woohoooo.
I find it kind of disrespectful to not only Empire but to rest of the Corps who are keeping tempo. There was no need for this and only made Cru look stupid especially at finals. Alot of people were mentioning it in the stands as well. U need to get over your dislike for Empire and move on.
I don't want to "master" any concept. Just want to know why those tenor players were behind and why you would respond "bfc". Just a question. And yes your dislike of ES is shown all over YouTube and DCP, get over it.

there is no tension between Cru and ES..so unless you know what your talking about(which you don't) shut the fuck up and don't worry about why sections of corps do what they do..they do what they do because they want to. simple as that..they don't need your approval..

haha ok so show off the "dca" ring...I was in that tenorline, we did it cuz we wanted to...all season, so unless you say ES played every corps on every show that we were at i would assume you would want to take back how we disrespected them...
and you obviously haven't been around DCA for very long or you would have known that corps like Renegades used to have their entire corps just march to whatever tempo they felt like...not because of disrespect but just becuase they could...
