I drove the Routemaster and Titan for London Buses. Both great in their own way but of all the buses I drove in Ireland and London, the Titan was by far the best. The many good memories I have of driving in East London will always remain.
Leyland Titan. 100 times better looking and contempary than the buses used today in 2010! I loved riding on the Leyland Titan as a kid and the Leyland National single decker. They made me want to be a Bus Driver when I grew up! lol i'm 40 now and still thinking about it...
Memories of Muswell Hill Road. Over the old LNER bridge and up to The Woodman. "Great stoof, lad!" When I was on the 134s (72-75) they ran Potter Bar to Warren Street.
lol old beford van, cavalier, citreon, triumph dolomite, honda accord and land rover Deffender.. geeze maybe i know more old cars than i thought. this must be maybe 90-95 vid? even at that and old beford and dolomite is still a rarety. not that i indores this bizzare bus spotting thingy of corse :)
P.s. old to me im only 27. just read discription lol 1990 was close i said 90-95
Depends on the car. If It was a 1992 Ford Fiesta or something, then I'd think they would have to do some serious introspection. Similarly with this. If it was a Routemaster, a bus with a historical cultural significance, I would understand; but what makes a Leyland Titan so charming?
Maybe because, like the Routemaster, the Titan B15 (so as to distinguish it from the Titan produced from the late 20s to the late 60s) was designed to a specification heavily influenced by London Transport, thus restricting its appeal outside the capital while it was in production.

Muswell Hill didn't close until July 1990. My first camcorder was purchased in January 1990 so this was filmed early 1990

mate you need to get a life! what if you got hit by a bus, wouldn't be such a big fan then eh?

MetalAaron, what do you mean BristolRE needs to get a life? What is wrong with filming public transport, so long as people do is safely?
BristolRE was filming from the footpath, from what I could see, so I can't see anything wrong with the video.
MetalAaron, some like cars & others like public transport, yet would you say get a life, if the video was about cars?

An interesting approach! I'd say not many of the cars filmed will be still on the road today!!!
