it´s a bouncer to reflect the light to turn up the light in the shadows of the actors. so they use the sunlight and didn´t have to use electrical light

I think it reflects light from the sun and that light goes on the actors. I think its just for better lighting

Avatar. I felt a huge connection with the characters, much better animation. Huge, Epic fight scenes. Better overall story. Changed my view of movies in general, forever.
