  • I had an advisor at Uni who did this. His catchphrase was "or something of that nature.". I should also add that he was a c%^t. There, that felt good.

  • That is essentially every meeting I have ever had with my manager.

  • I wonder if it's intentional that mr Mitchell looks a little bit like Mr Fry in this scetch?

  • This s one of my favourite M&W sketches. Well, not favourite...

  • @marksoutof10 ... Unless... it IS!?

  • yeah! neither!

  • this reminds me so much of my mum. priceless!

  • first mitchell and webb i ever saw... i am so happy i discovered them

  • This actually sounds pretty good.

  • I have a friend who talks like this...it's so annoying!!!

  • Sounds like Richard Madeley

  • ...Something outrageous, shocking, interesting, twisting, ladidi-da! sort of..

  • I mean not a shark, BUT YEAH! A big shark!

  • It's so funny it's tragic because this is basically how it is in many pitch meetings I've been in. And I agree, these guys are so Monty Python and just as good.

  • i imagine this is what producers are like

  • @anglofiles87 don't imagine...

  • @stopthesoftkill and you know something about producing content for major media outlets how? or do you just think that highly of yourself, and the mediocre position you fill in some back room of the bbc?

  • @anglofiles87 I think stopthesoftkill is trying to make a joke about what happened in the sketch, although it might have been easier if he/she had said *or don't imagine*

  • "I mean 'Henry', 'Sarah', these are just words really"

  • i love their hair

  • I actually used to know a person slightly like this, they would say what they wanted then would add, "or not" used to drive me nuts

  • "Am I making sense? I mean, not sense but..."

  • this is the funniest sketch i have ever seen on youtube....or not

  • I am sometimes guilty of that, or innocent.

  • a squid or a pebble lmfao

  • LOL there's always a choice

  • I think what the publisher is trying to say is that he wants something interesting to happen.

  • Or...DON'T!!! Cannot get better than Mitchell and webb!

  • The worst part is I think I know what he means.... worrying...

  • This is freaking hilarious!!!!!!!! I just keep watching it....

  • That's it! That is it! Write that, absolutely write that! Or... Don't! lolI i love this sketch, although personally I prefer padlockeygami =}

  • "...not sense, but you know." heh

  • Brilliant! This is insanely brilliant!

I meant, NOT BRILLIANT, but BRILLIANT

    ....or not

  • squid or a pebble or a police man :D

  • The title is incorrect. Robert makes it repeatedly clear that it's NOT this. Don't do this. Ignore this.

  • lol, I love this !!

  • This reminds me of my English teacher, so much, LOL.

  • Orgasms uncontrolably

  • just like to add my two penny-worth...

    ha

  • I think I'm going to end every sentence with "Or not"

    Or maybe I won't.

  • i love this. they're so good!

  • This is exactly, and I mean at parts verbatim, what conversations with my doctoral dissertation chair were like. Have an email from her that includes the phrase "or, not."

  • Jesus, Robert is awesome in this one!!

    Brilliant stuff.

  • Or. Don't!

  • Made my heart sink and want to throw my laptop in the ocean! lol

  • hahaha, so typical... some people really are like this.

  • Leaving Sarah to fall in love with a shark, a squid, a pebble, a policeman, or none or all of the above.

I'd say it's classic but I don't think it's been done before. Brilliant.

  • What does Maureen Johnson have to do with this?

This is my favorite one too. I wish we could see this in the US!!

  • LOL Maureen Johnson.

  • Love them. Oddly my own brain has these conversations with itself daily.

  • Above, we see the wee free monkey's in their natural habitat working hard at hardly working.

*"ooh's" and "aah's" are heard from the African safari looking truck (only, it has a big sign on the side making sure you know that you are in fact touring the wonders of Maureen's mind).*

  • No wonder Maureen is such a great author, with a process like this. :D

  • totally how Maureen writes her books

  • For anyone wondering this is from "That Mitchell and Webb look".

  • This is obviously Maureen's writing process.

  • I imagine it must be a little like this inside Maureen's head.

  • haha maureen johnson

  • Comment removed

  • hahaha! wow! thats so random and cool! i could see python doing a sketch like that back in the day-this is easily just as good and thats saying something! mitchell and webb are fantastic comediens :D

  • @derangedband I know! He reminds me so much of Graham Chapman

  • Favourite Mitchell and Webb sketch ever!
