looking back on this interview you can kinda see the discord between the band while at the same time you can see that they are still all friends and can have a good time together. But I for one am glad that they split up when they did because if they waited longer who knows if they would even be able to laugh together. Like they no longer work as a band but are still close? Still makes me cry though... (o.o)

I was tearing up while watching this and feeling pathetic for it, but then I scrolled down to the comments and realized I wasn't the only one. I love this band and I do think most (if not all) of their fans are just great.

This looks like one of those awkward family get-togethers where the divorced parents just got in a bad fight and they have to act like they love each other for their child who's not dealing well with the divorce. If it's true that they weren't talking at this point, then I'm glad they all split up. As awesome as they all were, if there was fighting going on behind the scenes, I wouldn't have wanted them to put their relationships with each other at stake.

I got the impression that the talking stopped like right after everyone moved to LA and Ryan and Jon were all "look at these songs we made :DD!" and Brendon and Spence were like lol, no. Makes sense, Spencer is a highly gifted drummer and his talent wasn't fully realized in P.O.

It's funny you say that! I was watching this and thinking "I think they're in their awkward splitting in half thing here...D:". How they kinda hardly directly spoke to the opposite half. And Brendon, when he said "And even for a while was in the band" in this joking sort of way. And he laughed. And Spencer laughed. xD But. I felt REALLY awkward by Jon and Ryan's response to that. It felt weird and disjointed. Like they were trying not to be weird and disjointed but just were. xD
