  • Have to agree with the natural foods and eating smaller quantities of food in general, this has worked for me. It took a year more or less and I am very slim now, actually underweight according to bmi readings. The question u dont answer is where does the muscle come from??

  • the best tip was to be patient, you didnt get fat in a week. So many people who have been fat their whole life want to see huge results right away so they do crazy stuff like get stomach rings and pills

  • hello. i train 5-6 days a week using weights and body weight but very rarely machines. my schedule is a bit chaotic but as long as i work intensely i get decent results. i never use charts or logs as life is too short!

  • @markbaileypd That's great, but what do charts/logs have to do with life's length? I think it's actually good to keep a chart so you can see your improvements. Improvements help with motivation/determination more than you can imagine.

  • eat 4 times a day, protein intake = 1.5x your bodyweight(kg), hit the gym and work your major muscle groups in compound movements. (bench press, pull-ups, squats, deadlifts)No it's not simple, getting a good body is a lifestyle change. Can't stress this enough. As a lifestyle change you'll have to sacrifice something to gain something.

  • FINALLY SOMEONE WHO TELLS THE TRUTH! GOOD JOB, Although the studies you mention about aspartame(and other artificial sweeteners) getting your fat are very conflicting, so be sure if you tell something, it is really backed up by more then one or two studies because otherwise you loose credibility! For the rest very good advice !

  • Good call. I've gone from 230 to 185 pounds with 15% body fat in one year by learning what it means to eat properly while still enjoying it, and keeping fit by doing what I love, sports. It's nothing fancy, it's called sustainability. The quick fix has never worked for me, because it's too tough to diet. If I want a dessert, I have it, because most of the time, I eat what I like while knowing it's good for my body.  A food journal keeps me in check though, and has been a great tool!
