  • to get the air lock just go to a homebrew supply store there evrywere you just dont know it

  • Easiest way to make moonshine?...swallow the Sun & digest the Moon!!!

  • its the red neck mratha sterwart show

  • what would happen if u did not use an air lock ? plaz anser me thx

  • @NatesRockMusic some people don't use one but it is best to you do not have to use a store bught one you can make it if you do your mash in a 5 gal bucket just drill a small hole and insert a rubber gromet and put a plastic tube in it seal with flour water miw and run hose into bottle or cup of water

  • What's the point of doing all the work, and waiting all the time, for one jar of likker?

  • @RaceTraitorHater cause it will be upwards of 80 percent per volume and if you make it right, it will have a smooth taste. Besides most people make 10s of gallons at a time so it doesnt matter how long it takes to make.

  • when are you going to post the "How to cook Meth in Your own Lab" video?

  • i have two questions, what brand specifically of yeast do you use?, and do you drink moonshine regularily?

  • Do not use tap water, the cholrine tends to retard the yeast, I recommend using bottled water

  • have you guys tried this moonshine? i need to know that this will not poison me or turn me blind.

  • There's a big difference between the words "Seminal" and "Seminole"

  • when your cooking it off how much of the first of the run do you though away i've heard the first three ounces poisionious

  • how do you make apple pie moonshine

  • @gotdathenny half a jar of shine, fill the rest with apple juice, add 1 cinnamon stick, and half an apple. thats how ive always seen it done, not sure on gallon jugs.

  • @4KawasakiRider4 what do you call that?

  • @4KawasakiRider4 thanks i will try that

  • where is part 2?

  • Maybe there's something i'm missing, but yeast converts sugar to co2 and alcohol.........so what is the purpose of the corn meal when your already putting 2 pounds of sugar in the mash ?

  • @Labyrynth1000 Your exactly right, corn is used only for flavor. For straight up "sugar shine" only yeast, sugar, and water need to be used. Any type of grain like corn, rye, etc. only adds flavor.

  • I havn't seen anyone work their backin's or run the steam threw water (thumper). I'm no phine must suck.

  • you don't have to have an air lock. actually a little air for the mash wont hurt it at all...thus the reason our ancestors used barrels with no air locks...but at the sametime it won't hurt it either to have the air lock in place

  • How long to ferment?

  • are these guys partners? they live together so i suppose they're gay moonshine lovers

  • Comment removed

  • What kind of flavor will this be? Can you change anything to make it taste differently?

  • you can get a airlock from a brew and grow place or wine making shop.

  • use of banana instead of corn meal.

  • Comment removed

  • you dont really need cornmeal just use sugar yeast water 2lb sugar/gal water , makes better taste imo

  • @68slipnot cornmeal is VERY important, but not neccessary ur right.

  • what kind of corn meal?

  • @superduty25073 dude any cornmeal will work, i like indian head stone ground yellow. its like $1.49 for a 2 lb bag.

  • Comment removed

  • damn rednecks

  • Do you just use the water part of the mash and trash the "slop"? How much shine do you get out of one batch of mash? Pls email me.

  • @jerrylee1952 no you can use ALL the mash u made, right before pouring the last of your mash, give it a good shake so ur not left with mushy cornmeal stuck to the bottom. use it ALL, but you dont need to fill your pot as much as these guys, go about 55% to 75% tops. you want a lot of space for the steam to build. also, make sure that your pot or pressure cooker or w.e ur using is sealed air tight! very important.

  • WARNING....DON'T DRINK MOONSHINE BEFORE MAKING HOW-TO VIDEOS!

  • are you guys gay you are way to happy

  • @BMXbros360 white lightning makes u happy, even before u drink it lol while your making it, its a great rush and a fun hobby. forget buying rum or gin or anything really, from any liquor store, this is the way to do it. homegrown fa realz!

  • This is how you make moonshine.

  • fucking idiots this is not at all how u make moonshine and they should take this video off

  • @brenttiefenbach actually this is a way to make shine, so maybe you should shutup. there are many different ways to make it with many different ingrediants. these guys made it pretty basic, blue agave is an awesome additive to the mash mix. Anyway you can make mash this way so your wrong, go away.

  • This will work. Its not going to poison you are make you blind.

  • Will someone please post a real video on how to make real moonshine that wont kill you........I mean GUNDAM!!!!!!!!! People wanna catch a buzz not die or go blind FFS!!!!!!!!!

  • what kind of sugar?

  • Sugar from the store. Nothing specail.

  • @probe901 so im not going to die and all

  • Making your own liquor is fuckin smart. Next week they make Jack Daniels.

  • @Zeden2010 Seriously, I wouldn't be taking advice from these guys. Someone could really make themselves sick trying to make alcohol this way.

  • How long do you allow your prepared Mash to ferment?

  • @Mike1614b I know, let's make a video about how to poison yourself.

  • @mwhitten77 go smoke a cig or consume some caffeine and calm the fuck down.

  • @TonyTheBassPlayer1 Sure, it's a real informative way on how to poison yourself!

  • hey, I don't know wft I'm doing, I think I'll make a how-to video

  • You guys do know you need to put liquid in the air lock for it to do it's job?

  • "Get the airlock on E bay for a dollar, plus shipping and handling........ahhhhhhh another doller so uhhhhhhhhh three fifty." Funny chit there

  • when making this stuff do you have to use "distilled" water like these dudes say?

  • @copenhagenlct Yes, you need distilled water, you can buy it at almost any large+ grocery store. It is very cheap.

  • @georgeendrulat whats the difference from well water? i read that distilled water is just boiled water.

  • @lokiqueen24 haha parently u ain't ever been out in real Florida, u wouldn't kno a redneck if he came up n bit ya in the ass.

  • haha, Good video fellas. To hell with these hater d bags bitching about the video. I enjoyed it :)

  • you guys are awesome :) love the video and your accents!!!! I was i had one will one of you guys marry me? lol jk

  • Holy shit what a bunch of haters making comments.

I am grateful for the information. Now the process isn't as intimidating after seeing someone do it.

    Kudos fellas.

  • You guys are idiots videoing making the moonshine, if you want to make moonshine simply make it and not video it

  • @405OklahomaBrewing some people want to know how? >_>

  • Is that a baby monitor on the table?

  • Had to wear a florida shirt. thanks for making us all look like red necks. -.-

  • @LeinadNesterbegne Moonshine refers to any illegaly made liquor. The name moonshine refers to the bootleggers moving it under the moonlight(or at night) so as to not be caught. Alcohol percentage by volume has nothing to do with it. Just to clear up the confusion.

  • First error, you can desolve all of the sugars by using hot tap water then add cold water. Second error, do yourself a favor suspend the yeast in about 1/4 cup of water at 96d before adding it to your mix. DO NOT use a bucket from home depot unless you want to take a chance of poisoning yourself. those kinds of buckets are NOT sterile use a food grade from a brewer's supply.Lastly subtract the corn meal and add ur fav fruit or spices and/or add honey and you have mead or fruit wine.

  • you can get a brewing bucket with a hole and grommet in the lid for the vapor lock, whiskey yeast is usually a high yield, and the vapor lock all at your local brewer's shop. almost every major city in the us has one. The yeast packet is usually set for 5 gallons adding that to only 2 gallons doesn't help. the yeast will continue to produce alcohol until they are saturated or they run out of sugar. yeast will DIE at temptures over 110 your body temp is 98 so 110 does not feel very hot.

  • If you knew how to make it why would you watch this vid jackass

  • can u buy highly active yeast at any store???

  • I arleady new how 2 make it SOUTH RULES Fuck u northnores

  • this makes me feel like a good ole country boy

  • can you use well water or do u have to use distilled water my well water dont have anything in it. where did u guys order the yeast from

  • Comment removed

  • @FuckThem14s yes, if you dont have one you can have an explosion, trust me from experience when i started making spirits 5 years ago

  • is the air lock necessary?

  • @FuckThem14s yes

  • @TheCtc789 No.. You can just drill a hole in the lid and put a balloon through it and poke needle holes in the top and the pressure will keep the balloon in place and it is the same effect as the airlocker ive done it with the balloon several times works great every time

  • @superdutyon44s That is true. I did that while making koolaid wine and it was very effective, but if your gonna commit to making it it doesn't hurt to buy an airlock

  • @TheCtc789 Good Point, Very true

  • the only two metals you can use in making shine is copper and stainless steel and the only other item that can be used but not metal is glass

  • Could i set up a ringstand, and put the mash in a glass flask over a bunsen burner and put the copper on top of the glass? I guess what im asking is- is it ok to use glass instead of a copper or stainless steal cooker over a stove?

  • SeminOle... Joe.

  • The yeast should be added last! Corn is for flavor most of the yeast is eating the sugar with is rum and not "corn licker" !

  • is this moonshine?, in norway moonshine is 96% alcohol.

  • @LeinadNesterbegne the 1st part of the distilling (fronts) is very high in alcohol, you can also re-distill your product to make higher percentage of alcohol. 96% is to high to drink! Use it in your gas tank.

  • @cowboyhippie the higher precentage the better and purer. and of course i would mix it up with some flavour for drinking.

  • Comment removed

  • @williams51210 Lol this proves to me that Americans really are dumb, everyone knows that it is impossible to make 100% alcohol. Even if you made it in a fucking lab you wouldn't be able to get 100%

  • @LeinadNesterbegne Oh yes, EVERYONE else in the world knows THAT! I'm willing to bet that most people in the world still think the sun orbits the earth.. North Americans don't own stupid,I've seen plenty of evidence of that in knowing people from supposedly far better countries.

  • This is off topic but... I was curious if you intended to call yourself Seminole Joe as in the American Indian tribe native to Florida or if you purposely call yourself Seminal Joe as the the Seminal Vesicle. (The gland which creates semen)

  • WARNING some of you may have forgot that you need all the metal copper or else other metals release toxins that can make you go blind remember that!

  • i like to think of the metabolism of glucose into ethanol, which is done with yeast, more of pissing than shitting... ooh i have a question tho, ive been wondering, why do people use cornmeal?

  • i like to think of the metabolism of glucose into ethanol, which is done with yeast, more of pissing than shitting

  • I thought I had a cluttered kitchen. This one beats mine! LOL

  • how much moonshine will you get out of the 2 gallons of wash?

  • Well I'll be a Hootswaller Nest !

  • Or you can go to a brewshop and spend 1.50 which is the easier way

  • Get-ir-done

  • I will miss Billy and Frank, they were killed in a explosion last week. RIP

  • these guys are prolly in jail right now

  • @delaney12 lol why?

  • 6:18 thats what she said

  • corn meal....lol

why not cracked corn.......ppl need to get real

.....sorry im old school....i do the real deal.....lol

    \

  • if u dont know how to brew booze ur retarded go to jail and make some hootch these guys are just helpin you explain the process

  • i got a jar of yeast so how much should i put

  • @JagerpanzerIV A whole jar? Sure that's not malt? Just a tablespoon of yeast is all you need - they multiply in the mash, literally.

  • which yeast do you use; i amde beer ones but i guess that you aren't using the same kind of yeast? ...

  • @MrNaturalMan Looks like Fleismann's bread yeast, the kind you find at any grocery store. (active blah blah kind)

  • OMG...this is so funny. You two are priceless! :-)

  • Don't quit your day jobs guys, too much yeast for starters. And the list goes on....

  • CAN ALLSO GET THE AIRLOCK AT ANY WINE&BEER MAKING SHOP. ;)

  • If I boil the water and let it cool, is that good too? Rather then store bought distilled?

  • @CRFbadass no you cant. Distilled water isnt just boiled water, it has all the minerals taken out. Pure H2O

  • if you cant find a air lock or you dont wanna wait for the shipping, just get a balloon and poke few wholes in it then put it over the countainer, it will allow air out but not in

  • HOW MUCH MOONSHINE DOES THIS MAKE!!!!

  • or you can by an air lock like devise at your local head shop

  • I bet that's a Racheal Ray bucket...

  • I'm gonna make my self a gas tank full and it wont cost so much!

  • when making mash do you wait for it stop bubbling or is 7 days good enough?

  • so illegal.. hope u all kno that and ur faces r on camera

  • @chickun1soup80 shut up//dont be a pussy

  • @chickun1soup80 i believe its only illegal past a certain quantity. or if they try to sell it.

  • I gotta do me some of that stuff, Yeeeeeehawwwwww :)))))

  • can u use self riseing corn mill? cant find any other corn mill

  • best video out there.

  • you also need to add water to air lock

  • @mainville82 how much water is needed in the airlock?

  • @mainville82 how mush water??

  • HOW DO YOU MAKE IT MORE PROOF (ALCOHOLIC)

  • @JagerpanzerIV distillation.

  • @JagerpanzerIV more yeast

  • @JagerpanzerIV let it sit and ferment longer

  • @JagerpanzerIV u need a still that will reflux it in the column then send it off to the condenser

  • Awww look at that! You two gave eachother cute little names! Adding the corn the way you did wont contribute anything but a little bit of taste. To utilize the sugar in the corn you have to steep it to convert the starch into sugar. Also im guessing you probably killed your yeast and had to add more. You should have boiled the sugar to dissolve it. Actually you sholdnt even have used sugar

  • @Dillonfromforks don't be a hater...they are having a good time and that's all that matters.

  • @knucklebones1

It wont be a good time when they tell everyone how to make it wrong and are responsible for people going blind and dieing because they watched this crappy video and thought thats how its supposed to go

  • @Dillonfromforks Nothing in this particular video would result in anyones death or loss of sight.

  • @knucklebones1

    Fags

  • airlock

wine and beer stores carry them also besides ebay

  • my question, has anyone tried this, and does it work?

youtube is not exactly the greatest way to obtain information...

  • @austx187 then why are you trying to find out on youtubes comments

  • bet it is going to be a bad batch, and then you'll go blind

  • 7 dislikes are revenuers lol

  • what is yeast? is it that you poor inn that like gonna make you sick if you drink to mutch? and for an arlokker if you use a bottle that its fits on can you use a condom ?

  • Dumb and dumber ,I would not drink the crap you people make......

  • i did mine with five gallons of mash, but i proportioned everyting up to where it would be equal to yours.. after i distilled it, it was week as fuck!.. so weak, it frose in the freezer!.. lol.. is there any common reason why this would happen?

  • @budmancb Ummmm....did you destill it? Lol

  • @Left4Danny2 ummmm did you read my post? i said "after i distilled it, it was weak as fuck!'

  • @budmancb when I said "did you destill it" I mean "did you actually distill it" you could have just boiled it. If it froze there is no ethanol in it.

  • @Left4Danny2 i did it the same way they did it in their "part two" video.. i dont know what coulda happened.. =\ you have any advice?

  • @budmancb What kind of yeast did you use?

  • @Left4Danny2 highly active... it was the same shit they used in this video... idk what happened.. maybe when i did the proportions, they weren't meant to be exact.. idk.. not sure..

  • hey man yall want a few tips in 2 gallons of mash use 5 lbs of sugar and go to a local store that sales everything to make beer and get some turbo yeast liquor quick instead of bread yeast and you will get alot more likker and it will be way smoother and you can get a higher yeild if you use just purified tap water because your likker needs minerals that is not in distilled water but be sure not to use water with chlorine trust me you will be satisfied

  • why do you have to be gentle with the yeast

  • Instead of buying an airlock you can use a rubber cork with a hole in the middle, a aquarium tube and another stopper into a 2 litter bottle with water in the bottom. also a punching balloon with a few needle holes works good.

  • You guys would make a cute couple just sayin...

  • you guys are the dubests lmaso

  • How many grams of yeast? Does anybody know .. I have three 8gram packages.

  • @sr1300nb

    Just one pack is good.

  • @sr1300nb

Just one pack is good. usually 7 grams but a little more wont hurt it.

  • you need to filter the moonshine threw charcoal in case of any other impurities like lead welds in your tea pot. this is a important step.

  • i got my air lock at a hyvee wine and spirits.

  • instead of that pressure thing my science teacher used a balloon
