Someone talked about Dave Chappelle, but he addresses black issues as a black comedian. Dunham's Achmed seems like the equivalent of an Irishman impersonating a Hutu massacrer, and that's where his humor seems more than a bit iffy.

Those who feel offended may not be terrorists, but they may associate themselves with the accent, dress code or even the name of the puppet ('Achmed' is one of the most popular male names among Muslims, after all) and feel themselves targets of a certain fear/hate.

Ok. The poeple that watch this video and Jeff Dunham , AREN'T RACIST. I'm Catholic, Do you have any idea how many times the Catholic faith is made fun of? I am one of those 44 milliom And I think that people who get offended by a comedy act may be a little too "oldfashioned" I am not a racist, I believe that there are no races among humans,there are only differences in culture and in beliefs, and people should lighten up cause its just comedy, and the creator of achmed is one of the best on his field.

So my advice is: Shut up with the offended issues, and enjoy good comedy for cryin out loud.

I am muslim and was not offended at all. As was mentioned below, the sketch does not make fun of muslims, but of muslim terrorists (I don't like the phrase Islamic terrorists). I think the video does a favor to muslim community. It makes people less scared of muslim terrorists and see them for what they are: stupid (actually they are also nationalists that hate USA). Next time I see Osama on TV I'll remember Akhmed and smile.

And I think it is hard to hate Akhmed. He is just too funny.
