is it important to have the handles of the spoons down into the basket? Dont they get clean if you put them the oppositve way? I just hink it's easier to unload the dishwasher without having to touch the" utensil portion", when the handles are up.

@Commandos12 if you're talking about regular soap that you use to wash dishes by hand, then no, because it will cause oversudsing and will screw up your dishwasher...

If you're talking about liquid soap specifically used only for DISHWASHERS, then yes
