Wynne is actually my companion of choice in the game, not my favorite for personality or the "coolness" value, but I just can't pass her healing powers up, she's very strong.

I also actually like the conversations with her, she's more serious and serene than any other characters.

I ended up needing wynne because she was the healer i could get, and healers are nice when your a tank.

she does run out of mana really quick but i just let her make lots of lyrium potions and put in the tactics that she must use them... works for me :D

God Wynne has such a shitty willpower and runs out of mana too quickly and i have to manually heal people with my arcane warrior person... she might be old and powerful... but is only powerful for about 8 seconds...

Wynne is quite the useful character when it comes to a complete party with a healer; unless you make Morrigan one or got yourself.

hello everyone, I'm rougamaru. originally, shale could be male, female, human, dwarven, or elven, depending on which actions and decisions you made in the game. this was shortened to male, female, human, or dwarven later on. when the game was finished, it was male, female, dwarven only. as to whether or not shale can be male, it seems far easier to get fem-shale than male-shale. ps: get male-shale and he likes wynne, saying mature women are much more interesting, LOL! XP

Not a spoiler, it's clearly visible Shale is female.

Shale compared to the other Golems you see in the beginning, Shale is shorter. Her attitude is much more laid back, you can tell easily. It's not my fault if you can't see it, no offense. But calling me retard for that is fairly childish, so either grow up or just try to avoid human contact.

Oh yeah, and I never go into any battle with Wynne, she's my only healer. <3
