I often find the path less taken most rewarding. Your Grandma did justice to the song; lovely operatic voice but not self important. Including all the famous singers renditions of it, this is the version that speaks to me the most. Thank you and thank your Grandma. You must be very proud of her.

@MrBrooklynScott Thank you. Florence Lowe lived in Central California for much of her life. I think this was recorded on a farm near Fresno.

This version is absolutely wonderful! A great voice, an absolute feeling for little breaks, changes in speed, she emphasizes heartbreaking and gives this song a deep sincerity without making it pathetic - a delight to hear! Thanks a whole lot!
