Seasons 1 and 2 were great. I'm on season 3 now and it sucks; seems that this series has lost it's base in reality that made it good. Middle schoolers now have no problem hitting Goro's 100mph pitches if that will make the story unfold the right way? Gimme a break.

And tacking on inexplicable "weaknesses" at the last second just to make a game close when it shouldn't be is a real turnoff. It's like a mystery novel that doesn't give the reader any hints.

Mayumura never gets any love. He's awesome. Listens to frickin' music (classical nonetheless) to warm up before games. Pure class act. And he's the only pitcher aside from Goro to throw Gyro anything. He's awesome.
