@madnezz1 I used a jackplug male-to-male cable for recording the sound directly onto the camera. One side plugged into the output of the Marantz, the other into the input of the Canon 7D. It worked perfectly for me in this situation, but for other situations I would rather use an external recorder like the Zoom H4n.

Thanks! I didn't add anything in post-production. Just some montage. No color correction or anything :).
