@amtrk128 Last time I checked Amtrak was an equal opportunities employer. Females are permitted to be engineers as long as they have the proper knowledge to be in the position.

@phoenix12349 No need to get mad at me. I work for the RR and know a few female conductors, engineers and other female employees. Im actually glad to see female's in the railroad industry. Did I say anything about female's working for the RR being a bad thing???? NO I DID NOT. and yes ALL railroads are EEO railroads.
