  • Well I still want this toy now. I'll be picking it up ASAP since I'm working on updating my classics collection.

  • looks like a pendolino

  • astrotrain's alt-modes are massive. any astrotrain figure that is not accordingly large will disappoint me.

  • the fin halves don't bug me. what wrong with it?

  • is Forbidden Planet a local store?

  • not bad classic figure

  • i like his train mode

  • now all we need is a universe blitzwing. and maybe some of the autobot triple changers

  • i agree and a universe voyager class sixshot wouldnt hurt

  • hes like tankor

  • no tankor is like him bcuz he came out first lol i ghot tankor so i wouldnt have 2 get him but i really like bliztwing

  • hpw large is it compared to a normal transformers?

  • I got astrotrain (no gun) for $ 1.25!!!!!!! But then 10 $ shipping :/

  • lol, ebay?

  • oh my god you are chad wardern in disguise

  • if only there's a voyager or ultra size version of this toy, i can imagine the train mode being much nicer than it is now

  • I'm busy with other things usually. I do a TF review when I get the chance.

  • Great review as always. I must say that I disagree with the posability though. Well, his arms/head are good but his legs are really, really dismal. Try getting a good stance with his legs, I dare you :P

And as you say the upper and lower legs are disproportionate - I mean, his lower legs are bigger than his torso!

  • I appreciate that it's hard to engineer a toy so that it has 3 decent modes, but even still, Astrotrain is my least (or maybe 2nd least) favourite out of the Classics line. But good review, for all my complaints I like the positive take on this toy :)

  • When I say that articulation "pretty good" that doesn't mean it's outstanding, that would be Mirage's articulation. :D

Still, your right, leg articulation could be better.

  • True true. Much respect to the guy who designed Classics Mirage. I think he's definitely a candidate for the Best Articulation award!

The Classics are a great line, good to hear that there'll be more of them next year. Looking forward to your next review mate.

  • @runescape228 lol mirage is such a loose guy

  • I like his trainmode too. Looks enough futuristic to me :D

  • wow great review. i work with two people from england but they dont sound like you. im guessing you are near scottland. nice toy too.

  • No, I'm not near Scotland, lol.

  • Great review....man o man that train mode is horrible.

  • It doesn't look so good from the back yes, but the front part is O.K. Proper triple changers are generally hard to do when it comes to making the alt modes as recognisable as possible.

  • i have some voyager megatrons and optimus's classics toys, trade? buy?

  • Sorry, I don't buy things over the Internet. Thanks though!

  • anytime

  • so good to hear from you great review thanks for the review.
