I am new to the pagan faith and would like to know more and if I was perhaps a born pagan I have been searching for a long time for a faith that fits me and I have always been extremaly friendly with animals I also respect nature I know that even the smallest blade of grass holds tremendas potential and i belive in souls

I am a pagan don't remember when but i will always know when i was reborn into this life. I have only once felt the hurtful words of a catholic who called what i did evil even after i tried to help her with spirits that she feared in her home. Even after i kept trying to help her but she simply rejected me and i never again seen or talked to her. I have never really had problems with people saying i was going to hell or that i was evil. My friends know what i am and except it. Blessed be all.

@janevolturi100 yes i know many christin -pagans it is more common than you think i myself believe in some of the christin ways but i do not believe in organized religion man has corrupted the churches in my humble option i myself take everything in the bible with a grain of salt due to the fact that man has changed things in the bible over the years things have been taken out and thing have been put in i have seen a bible from the 1800's and there was way more in it than what we see today

Paganism i thought, was thought to have origninated ,in name, from the country living people of ancient roman/greek ages. "pagan" was the name of the countrymen. they took care of earth and found mother nature vividly, and was thought to have created the named religion: "Paganism" at least, that is what i had thought, but being so soulitary a have yet to find much on my past ancestors. please enlighten me!!

Why do we talk about the rights and wrongs of religion? If all the gods are one, then gods in a polytheistic religion are still just one, rather than seperate, they are just different particular aspects of that one god. So, why does it matter?

For all of you saying pagans are going to hell.. Yes SATAN and HELL only apply to Christians and furthermore Christians are often intolerant of different ppl and they are aggressive. Look in our history, Christians are full of fear tactics and war. Even pres Bush used "god" to influence the Iraq war. I know not all Christians are this way but they are easily manipulated by their Christian leaders. When I was in Catholic school as a child we were told that logical questions where a sinners voice.
I refuse to believe that a kind hearted person full of happiness and joy for all the earths creations will burn in hell for being pagan. To burn in hell you have to believe in it.
After reading some of these comments, I find that the people whom are telling pagans or wiccans that they will burn in hell for all eternity, haven't even once read upon what others believe yet they act like they already know what this religion is about. Its a one way conversation to these people and if its not christian then it must be a satanic religion to them.

There are many such commands for discernment in the New Testament bc evil men get worse as time goes on & deception/temptation increases. I am a pagan don't remember when but i will always know when i was reborn into this life. I have only once felt the hurtful words of a catholic who called what i did evil even after i tried to help her with spirits that she feared in her home. Even after i kept trying to help her but she simply rejected me and i never again seen or talked to her. I have never really had problems with people saying i was going to hell or that i was evil. My friends know what i am and except it. Blessed be all.

"pagan" was the name of the countrymen. they took care of earth and found mother nature vividly, and was thought to have created the named religion: "Paganism" at least, that is what i had thought, but being so soulitary a have yet to find much on my past ancestors. please enlighten me!!

For all of you saying pagans are going to hell.. Yes SATAN and HELL only apply to Christians and furthermore Christians are often intolerant of different ppl and they are aggressive. Look in our history, Christians are full of fear tactics and war. Even pres Bush used "god" to influence the Iraq war. I know not all Christians are this way but they are easily manipulated by their Christian leaders. When I was in Catholic school as a child we were told that logical questions where a sinners voice.

@bbbfire Correction, everybody worships Satan. Jesus said: "Ye are of your father, the Devil & the lusts of your father ye will do." You have to know who runs the world system. Satan is disguised as an angel of light so his temptations appear noble on the surface but are not genuinely good. "treat everyone with love" of course, Jesus' final command is to love one-another. We love ppl but we don't love the evil principalities that are forced on the masses to confuse ppl about the truth.

@wtfkklol I don't have a religion & Satan is in the Old Testament back when Paganism was the only religion. Whatever began the universe must be Holy bc the concept of perfection still exists. As we observe chaos & disorder, there must be a Satan(adversary) or a negative of the creator. Satan is the god of this cosmos so when you worship nature/material/sex/self you are worshiping Satan. Jesus said "My kingdom is NOT of this world." Don't be so easily tempted. Understand the truth.

@wtfkklol God didn't tell anybody to follow blindly. In fact, Paul commands us: "but examine everything carefully: hold fast to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil." There are many such commands for discernment in the New Testament bc evil men get worse as time goes on & deception/temptation increases. Understand that the Christian has the most disciplined pattern of thinking than any ppl bc we have to distinguish bt the false & the true to know what pleases the God.

When the serpent led the woman to question the Word of God, she rebelled against what she knew was good. First of all, christmas, was Ra's birthday as well (whic is a older religion then yours)
and many European religions had a religious date then. Easter, is a pagan fertility holiday. Jesus, is pretty much amun ra. "Satan" for one, most likely came from the Greek Hades. And your god is one fucked up mother fucker, throughout the book, he just massacres people..

hellloooooooooooooo witches were not women who sacrificed babies to summon demons, they were healing women blessed with the gift to heal people. The church made up that crap about being evil people are afraid of what they don't understand and can't accept. And yes Paganism is a real religion just like christians pray to the cross and jesus we pray to the chalice and spear and mother earth.

@Vortex4001 then we could argue in return that crosses, tho blessed by the christian church has no power in spite of your beliefe that it does. do not attemp to tell us how our beliefes should be as pagans when the christian faith has become so convoluted with bs and hypocracy its scary. And on a side note, has anyone here ever known a war to be fought in the name of Wicca? or the Craft in general? CHristians have fought war after war after war in the name of their god.

@Vortex4001 on top of that, Christians have taken and corrupted so many of our pagan symbols and deities to suit themselves and try to subjugate us, we have reason to not want to deal with Christians. I have been a practicing pagan for 10 years. If you had any real common sense, you would do your research properly and keep your mouth shut until then. I personally have no tolerance for assholes who run their mouths about things they dont know.

@Vortex4001 hey smart one, and before you ask, i'm christian, however, i do my research, and pagans, and wiccans, follow a very important rule. DON'T HARM ANY LIVING PERSON OR THING. If you actually read up on things, you'd know that. Besides, christians deserve to go to hell, if there is one, which i doubt, more than pagans, because in the original bible, it said you could stone your wife and sell your daughter, and kill your bride on your wedding day if she wasn't a virgin.
