Careful People. This unit is crap. "Made in China" Stuff. Your Benz diserve better things that this piece of shit ! A friend of mine bought it and it is not even 50 Euro worth.
@apl175 I am also after the answer to those questions, i am getting tempted to just buy one and try out. just recently i purchased an w211 E500 with HK sound. beautiful car but i would love to have mp3 support and the convenience of USB sticks etc.!
@apl175 Thanks for that mate, Quick question for ya, I am in a bit of a pickle trying to understand the type of stereo we have in our E500's with the HK sound, i see there are 3 types that sellers list under w211 and they are "audio 20" "Audio 50" and Command. is the command one the one with the GPS etc? i have searched Google for the answers but cant get a clear answer.
@sly180sx Here's what I remember: Audio 20 Cass or CD - non color "matrix" display. Audio 50 half-height full color LCD. COMAND full-height color LCD. In most markets Navigation was optional but required either Audio 50 or COMAND. HK option was usually only part of COMAND or Audio 50. Adding navigation involves adding the navigation processor in the back of the car as well. I think Audio 50, because it had a narrower screen could not display maps - only turn by turn indications.

@sly180sx You might want to also look at something called the Dension Gateway 500. Google it and I'm sure you'll find your way to it.
