i have had these dogs since i was a baby and the only time they were aggressive was when someone tried to break into my house and when she thought my bf and i was fighting (we was playing) and even then she didn't bite she just barked at him and placed herself in between us . These dogs are the most sweet dogs and they are only aggressive when u train them to be that way .
breeders talk about how they are good dogs in good hands which maybe the case however you should not be breeding them as they evidently get into the wrong hands.. You might be ok but what about the 6-8 new owners of this litter?

@gentlemen59 that's a really slippery slope though, pit bulls were actually bred to be friendly and loyal to humans so they wouldn't turn on their owners after a fight, they were never bred to be aggressive to humans, only to dogs. On the other hand, german shepherds and rottweilers were bred as guard dogs to be aggressive against strange humans, and are statistically some of the top biters as well.

seeing these puppies breaks my heart, as cute as they are, it's a constant reminder that other playful and loving puppies just like these guys are put into the hands of terrible people and subjected to a life of dogfighting. I wish that society would be more aware of how great pitbulls can be and the common misconceptions associated with them.

Ya kmow whats sorta funny, I've been attacked by Chihuahuas and Small terriers. But i havent been attacked by any large dogs which im very fond too. I have a 160 pound Rottweiler and the only thing he'll do is lick you to death. But getting back to what iwas sayin, I PERSONALLY, think small dogs will attack you more than a big dog. I wish some of these people would get there heads outta there butts and look at things differently

pitbulls are just like any other dog :) the only traits they inherit that could contribute to violent behaviour are their muscles, but they're very sweet and loving dogs if raised to be so.

@gentlemen59 that's a really slippery slope though, pit bulls were actually bred to be friendly and loyal to humans so they wouldn't turn on their owners after a fight, they were never bred to be aggressive to humans, only to dogs. On the other hand, german shepherds and rottweilers were bred as guard dogs to be aggressive against strange humans, and are statistically some of the top biters as well.

Before that, for example, I remember dobermann's were the scapegoated breed of choice, whereas now you don't hear anything about them. When Steven King wrote Cujo, he wrote about a St. Bernard of all things. German Shepards are very popular as police and military dogs as well as working dogs for the handicapped. What about Mastiffs, a literal dog of war? It's not that simple.
