Everyone hates on Tremonti, but if you ever look at his hands you'll notice he has pristine technique. People aren't as impressed because his hands aren't going nuts and it looks really easy, but that's because his technique is just that perfect. Less movement = easy playing.

Not trying to be an idiot here, but even though the right hand is very impressive, it can be learnt by many players. I can pretty much do that with my right hand, the only difference is that I do that sort of thing with no pick, which means I blend the strings rather than play them 'perfectly' like he does. It really isn't impossible.

@Nettacki Yup. My first impression when I saw these kinda videos a few years back. Do yourself a favor, and get a hold of his two albums with Alter Bridge. Kennedy is a way better vocalist than Stapp, and Tremonti actually has FREEDOM to shred. It's a good time.
