I'm looking to get a Shiba, and I hope that he's friendly with other dogs, because I intend to socialize him frequently at our local dog park. :(
In a pack of dogs it is always about: "what is my place in the group" . As long as they all realize that I am the pack leader, it's ok with me.
If you want to buy a Shiba, then go to a good, responsible breeder and he/she will tell you all about the Shiba's character. To answer your question: "Yes, all my dogs get along well.
@lessthan3luv If you have other dogs, I'd recommend getting a female shiba. I have a Male Pug and a Male Jack Russel/Pug Mix and I know for a fact if we brought another male into the house it would have been bad news. So my opinion, go with a female, they seem to be much more relax and laid back that the males.
