This horse is a SUPERB prospect. Sure looks a lot like an ASB but given the height and the bone I wonder if there's some Tuigpaard in there? I know the Amish often cross the two. If this horse is still available, please let me know!

this is a saddlebred for sure! there aren't many breeds that get tall with little butts and neck like him! (my saddlebred is just like that, except saddlseat!) but he is VERY handsome and you are doing a great job with him! I'm hoping to open a saddlebred sport horse barn one day!! i think they're perfect for sooo many different things!
@PonyDenDen His overall conformation is very ASB typey, but hes not gaited....although at liberty he has a RIDICUOULS extended trot. Since he does so well as a jumper we try to discourage his natural up-headedness lol. It is ENTIRELY possible he is some kind of cross, i dont really know his breeding. gotta love those free pasture finds!
@WeRockOurSpurs He is actually going to Coggin Creek. I have someone to 1/2 lease but I need one other person... Its 100 a month flat if you know of anyone.
@WeRockOurSpurs, Shelb was going to lease him if she found someone to lease Rocky, but no luck there. Plus, her mom wasnt too fond of how big he is. He is potentially going to Coggin Creek... not sure yet though...

What a nice boy! He looks Saddlebred to me. If you give me some info, possible registered name, previous owners name, breeders name, state he was bred in? I can try to look him up in the ASHA data base if you're interested.

@FancyHorseLover He was actually started at 7yrs old. He was only under saddle less than a year in this video :)

he has an saddlebred head, but doesnt move like an asb- if you sit back and raise him up does he get more motion?
