I found the ending rather poor and predictable. Rockstar are too fond of imposing their morality that anyone who did bad stuff in their past has to pay for it. Would honestly have felt better and more original if it just closed with JM and his family living happily ever after. The way it does end is just ham-fisted.

@Rayamana7x After playing through GTA 4, it seemed very predictable to me that something bad was going to happen when you approached the end of RDR, and since we'd barely gotten to know Jack or his mother, John dying felt like a good bet. And obviously after playing through RDR, the ending of LA Noire was *even more* predictable. Rockstar really needs to switch storytelling gears imo.

It didn't even cover the whole game. There's horseshoes, liar's dice, ect. One difference, RDR is a game that is filled with immersion, awesome AI, and beautiful landscapes that make you feel like a character in a classic western, along with beautiful fitting music. While Call of Duty is a shelled out assembly line "Madden of Shooters" that is marketing towards idiots that don't know they are paying 60 dollars for a map pack. I still play RDR to this day, and I bought it on the release date. As a western fan I gotta say. RDR is art!

@JTtheLAR I bought it two days after release, y'know, still being held over by GTA IV, and other games, but I had a little extra cash, and yes, I do agree, I have RDR along with all the DLC, and it still holds to be a great game, rockstar always had a way to make minigames better than games catered to it, for example, The poker in RDR is the best poker I've played in any game, horse racing has the good ol' rockstar twist of being able to kill competitors/etc.

@xbon1 Don't get me wrong, I had a few months of GTA here and there too. Rockstar makes some of the best video games ever. I remember playing GTA 2 for hours on end when I was like 12. And look what we have now. Don't get me wrong there are some companies out there that put out some excellent games. But none of them keep me coming back for more as much as Rockstar does. GTA 5 is gonna be amazing .
