I have a headset but i don't use it cos otherwise i can't have my TV in HD, as it doesn't have the correct input for both. Should i go for using the headset or having my TV in HD? Thanks
I don't have a problem with the spawns in COD4 at all or spawn camping either. It was kind of an objective in itself, to control where the enemy spawned. Plus it made sure the gameplay stayed, for the most part, skill based. IW was talking all this crap about getting back to COD4 gun v gun, skill based gameplay, but if you outplay and destroy some noob only to have him spawn behind you and kill you, how is that skill based?
The spawns are so bad i spawned right in the middle of a collateral sniper rifle kill, then after that i spawned right on a bouncing betty. This made me rage so much i threw the controller at the wall.

I just finished watching your mass effect 2 playthrough (and yes I'm incredibly late but... I have excuses) and I felt like going and buying me2 now even though me3 is going to be coming out sometime soon. Then I watch this and want to play mw3. If watching your videos wants me to play the game you're playing, it's a sign your vids are awesome. And they are.
thats why I love search & destroy... the spawn is fixed, and there is no spawntrap killhore like demolition, and you can't camp all time or you will loose all rounds you have to attack.

I've seen a lot of xcal's live commentaries, whether he was alone or with spoon or ronaldinho, he was ALWAYS either at the top or the second place in the lobby. Also, he posts about i would say 5+ videos per day. he is really passionate about gaming.

Completely agree with you, I more often get punished by enemy respawns than rewarded by them. It's like they are trying to make the game harder for people who are good at it. This is the one thing that might well end up being gamebreaking, I just can't keep a killstreak going like in the other games.

The random spawning is counterproductive if Sledgehammer intended MW3 to be a more 'fast paced game.' If anything the current spawn system promotes camping; waiting for someone to run past around a corner, since you are always bound to see an enemy respawn around nearby. And with the constant spam of UAVs, Assassin has become a necessity in order to just survive longer. For all the problems that Black Ops had with Ghost Pro and hit detection, the one thing they got right was the spawns.
Well I play domination exclusively and the spawns are alot better there for obvious reasons instead I find that two entire teams will continually spawn in the same corner of the map which I actually like you get an entire team in a firefight with the other but other people may not enjoy it

I know I'm not the greatest player around, although I do fairly well, my spread, and my objective game has utterly gone to horrible in MW3, I like the feel of the game where it feels relative to MW & MW2 but the spawning system is crap. I know it's not me when I, out of the whole team, get constantly killed because I spawn next to the enemy team where I am cornered in a 3 way turkey shoot with the enemy team and the team is midmap playing the objective. I see the motives but it might just be me
Its a shitty solution to the spawns. If your getting constantly spawn trap, you can either stay and take the beating or leave the game and join another one. Random spawns like you're "Best Killcam Ever" video make you feel powerless against the game. You died, but it wasn't lack of skill. Its just the game fucking you over. Game should reward skill, not give free cheap shots
I found out 2 days after the game came out if you click the Accolades leaderboards they have stats for each one. If thats there way of looking at flag caps then I dont think they will fix it unfortunately.
I do not like random spawns like this. It takes away from the game. I do not feel like I am using map knowledge or skill and I am simply killing people spawning all on me.
Spawns have been a glaring problem since Call of Duty 4, or maybe even before that. I haven't played the CoD's before that. It's baffling that they haven't found a solution to it yet.
The main problem with mw3's spawns is that the maps are so tiny. Obviously, if a map is very smal you can't spawn an enemy far away from you.
I don't think they made the spawns this shitty on purpose, at least not in Kill confirmed, but if they did it on purpose then because it heps bad players to get better.
Which is the same reason why deathstreks are stil in the game. There are more bad that good players, so they chose to help the bad ones.
Also there is a latency issue for a lot of people, even if you have a good connection. I hope they fix that, until then MW3 is collecting dust on my shelf
I completely agree with xcal and all the people commenting on this video about the spawns being awful in this game and taking a certain part of the enjoyment out of it by replacing said part with randomness. I can recall one game where I spawned in FFA on Interchange, walked for two feet and got spawned on by another guy with the exact same spawn. If dying immediately after spawning is what is called a fast paced game I want to play chess instead.

i definitly think that the spawns are a big problem, it seems they flip way to easily. part of objective games is getting map controll and then defending your points by keeping them pinned back. its seems that you dont even have to be close to there spawn before they switch behind you.,,
mw2 was the most chaotic game ive ever played, constantly fast paced in most game types and there spawn system had its flaws but were still far better then this games, they were controllable and also escapable
I thoroughly enjoy watching people dying and respawing in about 75% of my killcams. I see no need to improve the spawns at all.
I also enjoy how small the flag cap radius is for Dom, making it pretty hard to watch for enemies coming. I just love being a sitting duck when trying to cap a flag.
I think that xcals specialist game plays are quickly becoming my fav of all his content. Seeing a player of his calibre utilising all the perks so well is great entertainment, and the fact he enjoys it makes it even better. youtube doesn't get better than xcal having fun on cod raping face all day everyday, standard.
I'd have to say I dislike the lack of objective points on the scoreboard more than anything. Black ops domination was excellent because of cap and defend stats. Then again I'm an average player so I'm not used to staying alive long enough to really mind the bad spawns - just another death to me but I agree they are fucked

do you actually play the game? because last time i checked, the people i play against actually move and shoot back, which puts a damper on the whole 'all my shots are perfectly placed' scenario.
maybe i should make a video proving that the m14 is the best assault rifle in cod4 because it has ohko that none of the other ARs have. oh wait, last i checked the m14 was one of the shittiest guns in the game.

I know I'm not the greatest player around, although I do fairly well, my spread, and my objective game has utterly gone to horrible in MW3, I like the feel of the game where it feels relative to MW & MW2 but the spawning system is crap. I know it's not me when I, out of the whole team, get constantly killed because I spawn next to the enemy team where I am cornered in a 3 way turkey shoot with the enemy team and the team is midmap playing the objective. I see the motives but it might just be me

Step 2 --- Bad player improves and dosnt get spawn traped all day
Step 3 --- Bad player learns how to spawn trap
Step 4 --- Bad player spawn traps the fuck out of everyone

Its a shitty solution to the spawns. If your getting constantly spawn trap, you can either stay and take the beating or leave the game and join another one. Random spawns like you're "Best Killcam Ever" video make you feel powerless against the game. You died, but it wasn't lack of skill. Its just the game fucking you over. Game should reward skill, not give free cheap shots

I found out 2 days after the game came out if you click the Accolades leaderboards they have stats for each one. If thats there way of looking at flag caps then I dont think they will fix it unfortunately.

Spawns have been a glaring problem since Call of Duty 4, or maybe even before that. I haven't played the CoD's before that. It's baffling that they haven't found a solution to it yet.

The main problem with mw3's spawns is that the maps are so tiny. Obviously, if a map is very smal you can't spawn an enemy far away from you.
I don't think they made the spawns this shitty on purpose, at least not in Kill confirmed, but if they did it on purpose then because it heps bad players to get better.
Which is the same reason why deathstreks are stil in the game. There are more bad that good players, so they chose to help the bad ones.

Also there is a latency issue for a lot of people, even if you have a good connection. I hope they fix that, until then MW3 is collecting dust on my shelf

I completely agree with xcal and all the people commenting on this video about the spawns being awful in this game and taking a certain part of the enjoyment out of it by replacing said part with randomness. I can recall one game where I spawned in FFA on Interchange, walked for two feet and got spawned on by another guy with the exact same spawn. If dying immediately after spawning is what is called a fast paced game I want to play chess instead.

Completely agree the spawns have been the biggest issue so far imo i hate when i flank the enemy i kill 1 guy he spawns behind and kills me i usually like to predict spawns to get the edge but in this game you can not

i definitly think that the spawns are a big problem, it seems they flip way to easily. part of objective games is getting map controll and then defending your points by keeping them pinned back. its seems that you dont even have to be close to there spawn before they switch behind you.,,
mw2 was the most chaotic game ive ever played, constantly fast paced in most game types and there spawn system had its flaws but were still far better then this games, they were controllable and also escapable

I thoroughly enjoy watching people dying and respawing in about 75% of my killcams. I see no need to improve the spawns at all.
I also enjoy how small the flag cap radius is for Dom, making it pretty hard to watch for enemies coming. I just love being a sitting duck when trying to cap a flag.

I think that xcals specialist game plays are quickly becoming my fav of all his content. Seeing a player of his calibre utilising all the perks so well is great entertainment, and the fact he enjoys it makes it even better. youtube doesn't get better than xcal having fun on cod raping face all day everyday, standard.

I'd have to say I dislike the lack of objective points on the scoreboard more than anything. Black ops domination was excellent because of cap and defend stats. Then again I'm an average player so I'm not used to staying alive long enough to really mind the bad spawns - just another death to me but I agree they are fucked
