@TheStewone i know right! they definitely could but it would drive the prices up alot, if they are not going to release their new laptops with blu-ray, they might as well get rid of the dvd drive and do something special with that extra space, ive only used my dvd drive about twice a year to install OS and thats it, external dvd drives are so cheap too these days, dvd drives are an almost obsolete tech from a mobile and portability stand point

It can have an endless amount of credit, and since interest paid on loans are tax deductible that means if apple should ever run out of money (unlikely) they have an option of using free money from banks. And since at least 2009 they've been playing catchup to Android which also predates ios.

Apple took existing products and technologies and perfected them. Essentially re-creating the product from the ground up but maintainng the foundation.

Siri still has nothing to do with it. They don't just make them "pretty" either, they do function well.

Also I like the new OMAP5, first, they aren't wasting electricity like Intel and AMD, with those CISC, instead it uses a RISC, and now is 64 bit technology. Allowing for 1 TB of RAM in the current models, and has a SATA and DDR3/4 support. So sorry Ivy-Bridge, Exynos and Omap are what I use now, once Windows 8 and Android 5 comes out, we will be set with a 64 bit ARM computer.
