No, it tells us about places where they try to "de-gay" people. It has a happy ending, I won't spoil it. It's a great movie.

No. The movie actually portrays how ridiculous the idea of "conversion" is, and ends with the protagonist accepting her own sexuality and riding off into the sunset with the girl she loves.

Though a cheesy B-movie for the most part, it has a good message and is genuinely funny in many parts (especially during the scenes with the son of the woman who runs "True Directions," who is obviously gay himself).

Plus, Dante Basco (Zuko, Jake Long) saves the acting with his sheer awesomeness.
