  • Omnomnom!

  • oh noooo it's a zombie

  • The seagull looks like a serial killer, especially with that blood on its beak! XD

  • When I was a kid, a seagull dropped a Pig's ear into our back garden.

It turned out to be one of those dog treats, but still....

  • ...that seagull is doing us a favor Pigeons are a nuisance!...

  • And all this time I thought seagulls only ate cheerios.

  • what a ferocious creature!

  • I'm used to watching animals eat each other, but that's kind of sick.

  • Damn nature u scary.

  • is that cannibalism?

  • @liamjd1 No more so than a human eating an ape.

  • lol the best part is the seagull walking

  • next time u go to the beach to feed the birds beware... you could end up like the bird

  • Seagulls are awesome. Ever noticed the red spot under their beaks? Baby seagulls are highly sensitive to red and will peck at everything reddish. When they peck at the beak of the parent seagull, it's a stimulus to throw up so the chicks can get their semi-digested food.

  • MIne!

  • <_< shake much

  • Wow humans are really bad at knowing things about animals.

We study these animals for decades and think we know everything about them.

A random person films stuff like this wile just walking around and puts it on youtube.

I'm surprised the information about these animals isn't updated.

  • @smildonfatalis1 That gulls will eat about anything and that they are pretty adaptable has been known for ages.

  • WTF, didn't know seagulls eat pigeons.

  • presss 6 and 9 over and over

  • 0:29 heheheheheh the way it runs :')

  • @TheEndsInSight lmao i started laughin also

  • and of course the Attacker's was pixelated for Legal reasons and clearly not due to poor camera quality

  • ewwww i love pigeons

  • Seagull with T-virus: "MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE..."

  • MINE.

  • I WAS eating cheese crackers...

  • Seagull, Pigeon, Dove

    HAH

    Seagull beats Pigeon

  • LOL SupaGoGoMan's aka Kim's comment.

    So random. ._.''

  • oh wow... bird on bird crime... i love how he carries off the pigeon..

  • i think the pigeon was already dead!

  • @CJ737 It was! It didn't even move in the video, and there's blood on the seagull's beak... :(( that seagull's really cruel.

  • I always see this happening in town when the pigeons get hit by buses

  • I saw one of these trying to kill a pigeon by the lake in St James's Park; it wasn't very successful and in the end a member of the public (for want of a better phrase) chased it off. I think a full grown pigeon is just a little too big for these birds, given that they usually survive by scavenging or stealing food from other birds. I've seen them eating crayfish in Hyde Park, and there they were extremely efficient.

  • mine!?

  • Seagull can't catch dove. They can only kill young pigeon, which can't fly very well, yet, or eat already dead dove.

  • Googled "seagull eating pigeon" after coming across this exact thing early morning before any coffee (was out to get milk) and was fascinated to see this seagull taking great hunks out of this alive pigeon. Gruesome yes but such is nature. The seas have been overfished and the gulls have little other choice. I only returned after reading a reply to an earlier comment of mine saying some see these pigeons as vermin. I see them as amongst the most noble of our birds and undeserving such a death.

  • Seagull usually eat fish (usually... McDonald's messed them up but still) so they are ok with meat... A pigeon must have been an easy unsuspecting prey *o*

  • It's a bird eat bird world out there...

  • I wish I had had a video camera the time my husband and I saw a falcon take down a seagull.

  • seagull's like "non of my seagull friends are here right? lemme look around....ok im good"

  • mine mine mine

  • Its a bird eat bird world out there

  • that thing come by my house i kill it

  • why all the weird things always happen in London??

  • She found the pigeon dead already///

  • guess he got tired of fish

  • Seagull: "What? He owed me money."

  • and that's why seagulls have red patches on their beak

  • is that a actor from the movie birds? check for red eyes

  • like how he said "this is going to youtube" "o m g"

  • this is why people need to let seagulls in mcdonald's

  • @123legalos Start a campaign to lift McDonald's unjust and unfair ban on these noble birds.

  • @lowcoststart lmfao noble birds.

  • Comment removed

  • Is this normal?

  • Seagulls are like flying rats

  • Phenomenal footage, I have never seen anything like this before in my life!! Well done !!

  • Seagulls are evil. They plan on world domination. Consider this a warning of humanity's impending doom.

  • @SupaGoGoMan is there any hope commander?

  • @SupaGoGoMan I agree, but this is a clear indication that they are in the midst of a civil war with the pisgeons for control of all bird kind!

  • @SupaGoGoMan I think it was George Orwell who said "If you want to picture the future, imagine a Seagull foot stamping on a human head repeatedly". This really is the Seagulls world, we are only keeping it warm for them.

  • Seal Gull actually preys on pigeon, I saw the entire process myself. A seagull catching a pigeon alive then eat it.

  • DAY ONE AFTER THE FIRST INFECTION.

  • ANIMAL CRUELTY

  • @robertjohnson487 oh comon now the pigeon was already dead obviously

it probably hit a window or something and sea gulls will eat ANYTHING!!!

  • @MoleSkinMurphBitz I was joking, of course.

  • That bird is affected by the T-virus clearly.....

  • @Zerobadniks true

  • @Zerobadniks T-virus?

  • @Phoenix412T1iron The virus that makes crows eat you in Resident Evil.

  • @Twinkieguy you mean a resident Evil references!

  • @Zerobadniks whats that?

  • @smcgunrun36 play Resident Evil and you'll find out

  • @Zerobadniks more like the rage virus... 28 days later the seagulls rule the world....

  • i have a video where i caught one of those suckers

  • Aren't seagulls supposed to eat fish?

  • this is veryyy, veryyyyy commoonnnn ya know XD

  • Bitch be trollin' and in this case the Pigeon is the troll and the Seagull...Well hes the internetz

  • Seagull: "Yummmm! KFP! Only it's not fried and it don't come with mashed potatoes and biscuts."

  • was the pigion alread dead?

  • AHHH!

    seaguls are savages!!!!!

  • Poor Pidgey... got eaten by Wingull :'(

  • now thats what I like to see.. Sometimes you just gotta go cannibal! I tell my psychologist that all the time and he thinks I'm kidding...

  • If you've seen "Finding Nemo" you'll get this joke....."MINE!"

  • @TheGuitarkid15 MINE!

  • well bronson if u try to stop madness by shouting you only get ganged and beat and possibly killed

  • I saw this in real life today, for the first time, im 20 years old, and I didn't even knew they do that :O

  • no big deal, sea gulls are scavengers and in Canada are one of the few animals that will eat dead skunks along with lots of other road kill. I think they have little sense of smell or a high gag tolerance.

  • Another good example to all people who are anti-nature (a.k.a. anti-animals eating animals; a.k.a. the NATURAL cycle of life): saving one animal, may starve another one to death. Shame on all people who would even think about saving the little bird. That's the same as killing the bid bird.

  • @quantum0000 people lack common sense now these days..

  • stop being little bitches and except animals kill animal to survive and live suck it up and if you didnt like this than why did you click it so fuck off and you probably just finished off a pig or cow that gets its throat cut to eat so you can survive as humans its nature people if you dont like it then tuff. if you probaly stopped that seagull from eating oh there his food for the day and you made him go hungry on food that was already dead suck it up if you dont like it THAN TUFF !!!

  • are you guys retarded animals have been eating animals before we ever existed it went to the dinosaurs all ages of life. The only reason we ever thought this is cruel is when people started to stop hunting for there food and getting off the shelf. Its the nature of life at one time humans were prey until we evolved and that what would of happened to them. Animals get eaten all the time lets face it. That seagull and pigeon eat worms and insect technically they eat other animals to!!

  • You guys don't seem to realise that the pigeon was ALREADY DEAD. The seagull was being a seagull and well.. Eating.. at least it was helping to clean up the mess.

  • Was that Pigeon alive?

  • CANADAN ROCKS

  • at least he's not nicking my chips

  • Amazing! Those bastards really eat everything. Pigeons, condoms, tampons, and the most awesome thing is feeding them effervescent tablets!

  • haha cool

  • its is just funny how the majority of u think that animals are just the sum of their instincts. Maybe 50 years back thinking liek that as okey but wake up guys. Go read a book and learn about the stuff ur talking about. I for my part are working with animals every day and they truely can think and even plan how and what to do. Sometimes they even fool u in a way not even humans could do. Just take ur heads out of teh sand and open ur eyes maybe u will see the trueth ur self one day.

  • And no, i dont have all this information from the internet. I learned it at school. It's actually a real chapter in the subject Filosophy.

  • (Like the terms simple awareness, consciousness en self-awareness)

You might say it can't be proven that animals can't think. For a lot of animals it can be proven that they can't think. Though there are still discussions about it, because you can't know it a 100% sure. But it's pretty sure ;)

So i suggest You should take a look in a book and on the internet before start acting you're a know-all and i'm living in the past. ;)

  • FFFUUUUU...

  • hahahaha! oh my god! no!

  • zombie?

  • seagulls are carnivore and like a scavenger or some shit

  • You people do realize the bird had to be already dead to begin with, seeing as though gulls don't hunt pigeons...

  • @aboymadeofweed of animals dont eat eachother they starve to death. if all animals die humans cant eat the animals and than exstintion will come. all animals populations need to be not to many nor too little so the food chain can work properly with out everyone ending up dead. is that what you want . the apocalipse!!!!!!!???????!!!!!!!

  • RIDDDICK OWNS THE SKIES

  • umm....is this the circle of life?

  • Well that's kind

  • You city dwellers need to go on a safari, or at least a nature walk out in the country.

  • Seagulls are the playas of the bird world

  • @Scolerskimbal It is physically impossible to save a pigeon... that is already dead.

Incidentally, there were dead pigeons further down the grass with Seagulls eating at their flesh. The 'gulls had a feast that day. I've since learned that it's a very common thing amongst birds.

  • @Scolerskimbal good luck saving nature from nature...

  • @Scolerskimbal you honestly think you can stop a hungry animal from eating another animal. By loving it.

    *cough*

/Please/ try that with tigers or crocodiles. And tell someone to film it.

  • @Scolerskimbal Animals eating each other is not a disturbance of the 'peace'.

Should lions stop hunting and go veggie, to make the world 'peaceful'?

Let's not worry about the Seagulls and pigeons for now. Let's concentrate on humans. Iraq, Afghanistan, you know, human murdering and slaughter. I think the world will be nicer if we try and stop that stuff, not Seagulls eating pigeons.

  • @BlackBronson

    lol

Let's not worry about the Seagulls and pigeons for now. Let's concentrate on humans. Iraq, Afghanistan, you know, human murdering and slaughter. I think the world will be nicer if we try and stop that stuff, not Seagulls eating pigeons

the world is full of fucked up people

  • @BlackBronson Lol. Humans are stupid. xP

  • @BlackBronson Agreed! nature is what it is for a reason. But there is nothing natural about what humans do to each other...

  • @BlackBronson awesome saying dude!!! i wish more ppl thought like u especially bloody bush

  • @Scolerskimbal lol u can't always fix the world thou animals can be posessed by the way so :I get a bible if u wanna make them peaceful

  • @Scolerskimbal

Animals can't learn anything. They have no feelings, they have no consiousness. They can't be aware of anything, so if they are having pain they are not aware of it. They only have their instincts, nothing else. So i guess there's no hope in your ideal of making animals vegetarians.

  • @redofred what makes u think that the human are the only "animal" that got feelings and consiousness? Thats simply retarded since its a clear fact that most if not all animal species do very well know what and how they are doing stuff. Saying they are only following of their instincts is liek to say that the eartch is a plate. Get into the 21st century and maybe even try to read a book.

  • @snoMedia

Hahaha, you actually believe what you just said, don't you? By god, you must be the most retarded person I've encountered this month.

Please go kill yourself. Preferably now.

  • @snoMedia

Hahah come on man, you're talking bullshit. (just like Anarkiados already said). Animals other than humans can't think. So if they have pain, they don't know it. They are not aware of it. They might get unhappy (for as far as you can give animals emotions), but they don't know it, because they can't think. It is proven in tons of researches. What I'm saying has only be confirmed by research, none of the researches has proved that this statement is wrong.

  • @redofred That's mental pain, not physical. -_- Animals can feel physical pain, they're just not sure if they can feel emotional pain...

Why do you think a dog yelps when you step on its tail or its paw? Because it wants to?

  • @x0Demyx0x No, a dog might feels unhappy and as a reaction on it he starts yelping, and might run away. But he doesn't know why. He cant THINK, so he doesn't know what's hurting him, he doesn't know what the pain is, he doesn't even know how it really feels and he doesn't know how and why he's reacting as he reacts. He can't think, so he can't be aware of anything. He just reacts without being aware of it. :)

  • @redofred You couldn't be more wrong.

If dogs/animals couldn't think, they wouldn't be able to learn tricks, or go in the direction they know to go in.....Besides, I've spent pretty much everyday for 17 years learning about animals. Thought processes, included.

  • @x0Demyx0x If you did, you should know that a dog does that as a reaction. He is doing it because it is the way the get a reward. And to get back to the seagull, do you believe that this animal can think?

  • @redofred A dog yelping isn't getting a reward.

And yes. If the seagul knows how to move the way it wants, then it can obviously think.

  • Comment removed

  • @x0Demyx0x And yelping also ain't a trick. Ans it still is a reaction to achieve something, if you mean the situation that he starts yelping if he needs to pee. (I might should have said goal instead of reward ;) Reward just counted for the tricks,in other cases you could say goal. )

  • @redofred They don't 'yelp' when they need to pee...They bard or make crying noises so that you know. Yet another thing that says they can think.

You stick to your beliefs and I'll stick to my knowledge. ;)

  • @Scolerskimbal, does that mean you want lions to stop eating their food???

lions eat other animals too, their instincts tell them to. You cant stop them from doing that, no offense

  • @lia123peppy You can stop animals being mean actually, all you have to do is good training, think about this, if from when it was born you always put down really nice vegetables and fruits for a baby lion and you didn't show it anything nasty or any horrible dead animals or anything then what else would it ever want to eat? Its impossible that it could not be vegetarian isn't it?

  • @Scolerskimbal There a few things you miss here and that's

1 Animal instincts, A lion is build for hunting and no matter how hard you train it it will seek for flesh to eat anyway, no matter if you feed them or not.

2 It's not like they wish to eat this and that, it's what's they need the stuffs what's inside their meals to able to live on. A Carnivore needs to eat fresh meat so it can keep their strong building moving and it can't be produced by just some shitty plant, what a Herbivore eats

  • @Scolerskimbal are you a retard or something? if they took that pigeon away from the seagull, it would have died for nothing it would just be senseless death and the seagull would lose its dinner its the way of life and little babies like you who care about animals that are meant to be the prey of other animals should just shut up and get over it, the thing thats really heartless is humans killing them to "reduce their numbers" and then stuffing them for trophies

  • @Scolerskimbal *PART 1*That's a lovely sentiment and I do get where you're coming from.It shows a highly developed social conscience to be able to empathise with other species, and I share in your horror at the sight of another creature suffering! But you can no more teach a carnivore species not to hunt than you can teach a flower not to bloom.Cruel as it sure is,it is embedded deep within their instincts!I'm veggie by choice, and with our big brains we can rise above aspects of our nature...

  • @Scolerskimbal *PART 2*...That said,it would be foolish not to recognise that we as a species would not be where we are today without taking part in the bloody evolutionary arms race ourselves!

  • @Scolerskimbal

or how about we don't try to change the coarse of nature and let it do it's thing because so far all we have done was fuck it up with global warming and oil spills.

  • @1992pattrow I know we need to care for nature better, I am being your friend, but did you know a bad cause of global warming is actually people eating too much meat so you see the seagull is being bad for the climate and also tigers and crocodiles do it too and in fact are worse. That is a good reason that these animals should only eat plants.

  • @Scolerskimbal

In a number of years of every animal eating plants there will be no plants left to eat. There are over 6 billion people on earth who eat many times a day, same with every other animal. not to mention that not all animals are able to digest plants.

  • @1992pattrow Er no, because think about it, if all the time we spent making guns or animals were killing each other we spent growing plants then there would be plenty of food. There would be so much food there would be no room for animals! And all animals can eat plants, they just learn differently when they are young. My dog learned to eat cakes and biscuits for example. Did you know bamboo can grow 18 metres a day?

  • @Scolerskimbal HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH. Funniest comment of my day

  • @Scolerskimbal dude gtfo!!! lol

  • @Scolerskimbal lmao

  • @Scolerskimbal if carnivorous animals stopped eating other animals the world wouldn't become "peaceful" it would be just the opposite, EVERYTHING would die. do you even know how life works?... you sound like an ignorant bitch. for instance, if all the carnivores in the world died off then there would be massive over population of everything else. over population means a shortage of food, shortage of food means starving, starving means death. hippie mentalities will result in the end of humanity.

  • @ishouldplayzelda I am very sorry but the way that life works is that if we all care for each other and take care of everyone then together we can make everything ok and that is not just for people but animals too. The seagull doesn't have to eat the pigeon so it has learned something bad and see how something died as a result? Come on.

And I don't know if you think I am a girl or something but I am a male and it is not appropriate to call me a bitch and you shouldn't say bitch anyway.

  • @Scolerskimbal animals don't think like we do, they're extremely simple. they're genetically programmed to kill each other and they don't regret it unless the prey seriously hurts them. if a cat kills a mouse, it's earned it's dinner. if a cat eats a poisonous toad, it regrets it because it'll probably die form it. also, i've never seen a lion, tiger, dog, or whale regret eating other animals just because it "has learned something bad". your also forgetting sharks, they're 100% carnivorous.

  • @ishouldplayzelda No, you're wrong. Sharks eat plastic bags and car tyres and all sorts of things that are much less tastier than nice vegetables. They go around in groups so that is why they often think it is good to eat meat - bad habits learned off mothers, brothers etc. If a baby shark was alone in the sea and there was only carrots and potatoes - no fish - then what would it learn to eat? So you see they can be vegetarian. Sharks are very intelligent beings who learned mistakeful habits,

  • @Scolerskimbal sharks eat plastic bags because they're ignorant, they can't get any nutritional value from a tire therefore they rely on fish and various plankton to stay alive. btw, how do you plan on converting all the carnivores to vegetarians? i'm perplexed at how you would do this without god-like abilities. unless you claim to be god, that's an impossible task.

  • @ishouldplayzelda Not one person can ever make it all right, that is the power of togetherness. Think about this, did one person build a tower? No, it was lots of people, at least 50 say. Can one person train a million animals? No, but a thousand people can. On our own we can only do our bit (and we should, but together we are a magnificent team!

  • @Scolerskimbal okay, i understand that it would take more than one person to train a million animals but let's just assume that one person can train one animal. in almost every single case of wild carnivorous animals being raised in captivity the trainer has been attacked. do you know why? because it's a wild animal and it's genetically predatory and violent. no matter how loving, nurturing, or caring the trainers were, they were ultimately attacked by the wild animals they cared so much for.

  • @ishouldplayzelda But do pigs attack a farmer? Do sheep? If you use a whip on a tiger it will be annoyed but you can take precautions like staying in shape, keeping a cattle prod or something and doing good, sensible training.

And I know it sounds bad to use cattle prods on animals but you should set the charge so that they don't die, just incapacitated, and accept that even if it hurts at least you are saving lives.

It is the best thing, say you are with me!

  • @Scolerskimbal wtf, i blocked you! stop responding

  • @Scolerskimbal and once again your forgetting the problem of the population control that would be completely non-existent if animals stopped killing each other. and once again your forgetting that overpopulation leads to food shortages which leads to starvation which leads to mass death.

  • @ishouldplayzelda If there is food shortages you have to plant more crops like beans and wheat and stuff. If we all work together there doesn't need to be a problem. Don't give up, train a carnivorous animal to eat plants and plant crops instead of flowers in your garden and if everyone does their part everything will be ok.

  • @Scolerskimbal you can't train a genetically predatory animal to just up and eat plants all of a sudden without it still being aggressive toward the "trainers" and other animals. would you kill all of the current generation predators and breed new ones? if you did that you'd be killing your fellow earth children and we can't have that...

  • @ishouldplayzelda You should never kill, I don't know what earth children means and that is weird but anyway you can train carnivores to eat not meats and I have done it. I posted about it before because I give my dog cakes and chocolate and stuff and he usually doesn't eat meat from the tin now and when he does he is sick. So if he was to run into the wild now he would look for things other than meat.

  • @Scolerskimbal wait!!! you feed your dog chocolate? wow you really are one sick puppy. do you feed your parrot avocado? this argument is over. i can tolerate a mentally ill hippie on a mission to change the genetically ingrained behavior of wild animals... just because i happen to be bored right now but when he feeds his dog a substance that is extremely deadly to dogs, that's where i draw the line. why would you intentionally feed your dog chocolate? that's like letting a kid drink anti-freeze.

  • @Scolerskimbal

its dead... and thats nature im afraid. i mean if the scared it off then its death would have been for nothing

  • @Scolerskimbal Ahh, they say "ignorance is bliss", don't they? :) Not sure I'd quite want to be as ignorant as you sound, though. This is nature, and you're living in it. If you can't handle seeing an opportunistic scavenger picking at carrion (it was clearly already dead), then you need to experience life some more.

  • @MoogieSRO It obviously wasn't dead because it is moving and fluttering from the pain, if it was dead it would not move. It would be ok to eat a dead thing but you should feel sad first that it died, but the seagull did an awful thing and the person that made this video should have leaped in to stop it, that is all the point I want to make.
