Cartoon Network originally wasn't even meant to be a children's network. It was created as a classic cartoon channel to show stuff like Looney Tunes and Hanna Barbara cartoons.

It had literally so many different forms of animation including anime

Now the executives went full retard trying to compete with Disney and Nick they've strayed so far away from the original purpose of the network.

I think Cartoon Network was at its highest point in the late '90s, with shows like Pokemon, PowerPuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Ed Edd 'n Eddy, Courage The Cowardly Dog, and Cow and Chicken.

From the 90s until 2002, I LIVED for Cartoon Network. Toonami and Cartoon Cartoons ruled my life! Then I moved in 2002 when I was 12 years old, and I didn't have TV until a few years later. When I got TV again, I found that Cartoon Network was dead. :O Ever since then, it's only gotten worse. Can't even watch that channel anymore. Ah, for the good old days...
