Reason why the old monitor looks better for the older consoles is CRT monitors resize to the correct pixel resolution of the game unlike LCD's that will upscale and stretch everything which causes blurring. Dreamcast looks best on my old PC CRT monitor using the VGA cable which dsiplays the correct 640x480 pixel size with no scaling, still looks good on the 28" and 46" LCD's but loses sharpness.

What i love about peoples collections is there individuality, we all have our faves don't we and i enjoy viewing these history mixes.  Think it's pretty cool you have some kind of World Record on "Contra" as well. You've always seemed like a decent sort to me mate...keep up the classy MEMORIES!!! :D

I can't stop watching your videos man, I love your collection. I have this problem, I've had multiples of every single system, I can never hold onto stuff, if I don't play it for over a year I feel like it's wasting space and I sell it. Biggest regrets soo far - Sold over 300 NES games, Tray-load Sega CD/Gen/32suX bundle with tons of games. Let me put it this way, I've easily had over 15 NES systems since I was a kid, I wish I could just hold onto the stuff, but I dont' like stuff to sit.

Very nice displayed collection! Been looking to Get Vagrant Story for awhile, one of the few RPG's I missed playing back in the PS1 era and I've heard nothinhg but good things about it.

I've been setting up my collection in a similar manner buit between games, consoles, and accessories it's turned into a challenging Tetris-like project.

I used to use an Amiga monitor for my retro games. It's absolutely clearer than a TV. I wish I still had access to it.
