Separ Filter Fuel Water Separator-Separ of the Americas

My super duty (Ford) i guess has a water separator, and the light on the speedometer is saying "drain fuel water separator" ive paid $236 to the ford workshop to fix it yet the light still comes on, and i just paid them 20 mins ago and its still saying that is there any way to drain it myself? Please help im a contractor and i rely on my truck!

@AMERICANEAGLE77AB If your truck is equipped with a Separ Fuel Water Separator, you can download the procedure to drain the filter yourself at the Separ Filter website (Literature page).

If your truck is equipped with the factory Ford Water separator filter you may want to check with a dealer that is more qualified on the diesel product as you may have an ECM or water sensor problem.

This is not for gasoline or ethanol. Separ Filter is for diesel and bio-diesel only.

@separfilter Whats the difference if Ethanol or diesel runs through it ? Will it eat away at the unit?

Will this work with E85? Or home produced Ethanol?
