@Deanyomac every time you finish the game you are able to save the data. then if you load this game file you start the game from the beginning but now you are able to use the special Item you gained in the end. collect all the special Items (stealth camo and bandana) and snake will walk through shadow moses with the smoking and gray fox turn into red. if you get one special item (doesn't matter which one) fox will turn yellow.

@jinbloodia it is spelled "jaeger" and it is german and means "hunter". but in german you write it different: "jäger" but the way to speak it is the same. gray fox can speak german a little so he was given a german name. the names of naomi and frank are the same, just the language is different.

I cannot believe how much Twin Snakes fucked this scene up. I mean, the original had way more emotion in the voices than the remake. Oh, and, some people actually LIKE the remake better than the original because of the graphics! Well, I say to them, graphics don't make a game. Voice acting and gameplay do.

@n1g3ld34c0n Even though Twin snakes wasn´t the remake I was expecting, the game is pretty ¨solid¨, the graphics are ok, the remixed OST is ok and the cinematics (specially gray fox´s first appearance) are amazing, on the other hand, they fucked up the title screen and some of the voice acting. Unlike R.E 1, this remake couldn´t surpass the original, but still, it´s more than a decent gaming experience.

They made Gray Fox look even more insanely awesome than in the original, the over the top moves actually suit him because of his exoskeleten. They just didnt suit Snake which was the main problem

I unlock tuxedo and the red exoskeleton of gray fox. But the exosqueleton is unlocked when you unlock the Tuxedo. So this video isnt a surprise. Maybe a little bit for.. "noobs" of mgs.

And I prefer the voice of Gray Fox in real MGS1, not in Twin Snake. It sounds better.

In some ways yes, but in others, like Snake, it hasnt aged very well. A quick example is how much better the Metal Gear "scream" is on this version. Ill agree with you that the original has more "character" and is better in some areas, but to simply say its "better" altgother is blatant fanboism.

Because, unfortunately...Greg Eagles used his "normal voice", when he spoke as Deepthroat. The fans were asking "If Deepthroat is Gray Fox, then why does he sound like Donald Anderson?" and that question is what pointed out that mistake. But Greg Eagles did a good job with Gray Fox's voice in general.
