  • this song is horrable sounds like a gutar and a rusty violin falling down stairs and landing on a thumb tac...cool snow blower..

  • @windprochannel Nice description of the cacophony, I want to redo the whole video when I get some time but today I am blowing some serious powder!

  • How north are you? I live in Coeur d'Alene and so far the snow has been pathetic!

  • @plutonium9 Yeah this winter has been the mildest for the longest time I have seen in 22 years! But today we are getting dumped on and I am going out to fire the "beast' up and blow my driveway of 8" before we get the 18" more on thursday! W0000t!

  • Your machine seems to do very well for an uphill incline on gravel without chains. I just bought an Ariens compact 22 LE which will have to work in the same conditions. To work over gravel I replaced the stock shoes with Armor Skids.

  • @ChilesGreen Cool -the conditions can vary a lot even in a few hours or days

  • francocvl

  • music blows, remake this with just the natural sounds

  • @hemet92544 yeah I know - but the motor is worse after a few minutes

  • weird music

  • @farmboy8450 yeah its pretty bad, just turn it off...

  • why do you look like you have to push that SnowBlower???

  • @GSPforLIFE1 The Ariens has several forward and even reverse speeds of assist. By the time I was using the snowblower some areas of the driveway had been rutted from several vehicles stuck there. If the surface is not flat for the machine to cross there can be bumps, but it's not really a big deal after you get the hang of it. I operate the unit differently on the flat than I do on a hill as well. The fastest forward speed is a fast walk.

  • Epic audio clip at the end. :)

  • @l337pwnage The audio of the guy boasting at the end is from another video on you tube that I added. It isn't me and this video I made was originally intended as a video reply to another Ariens snowblower video that was rejected from the guy and didn't get posted. The audio of the guy at the end of my video is from the reply to his video on his page he did accept...

  • looks like you need tire chains

  • @MrHandyandy10187 I have been looking for some and they are very hard to find in the right size. I have considered making my own. This year the ice has been really bad and I need them even more.

  • It was like watching an old Rambo movie when Stalone would get all done up for the super battle scenes. Good job on the hearing protection too, thats the first I have seen anyone using so far in all the snowblowing videos that I have watched. Hearing protection is a must when operating any equipment. Great video!

  • @scooby1969doo I like music and play an instrument so I protect my hearing as much as possible, thanks.

  • Great vid.... Did you really need the electric start though?

  • @frosty9595 I use the pull start after its warmed up, and away from the cord. But it is nice when it is very cold.

  • Wow, Ariens should put you on the payroll! Your awesome video has sold me on buying a $1500 snow blower instead of a $600 Toro. Thanks for the video!

  • @mamabear912 ya, get a 36" Ariens and watch it fly!!

  • @mamabear912 Glad you enjoyed it, your welcome.

  • @mamabear912 I bet your glad you did that now huh?

  • For anyone never been in N Idaho, I've seen people with snowblowers on their roofs. I was there for winter 09 and loved it. I normally live in FL. Enjoyed seeing the snow again.

  • Good Video. But why was it that most of the time you are blowing the snow over the part you just cleared. I admit that i am no expert but that just seems like more work.

  • @Schmidt10usa

in general one should never loose snow on top of fresh snow thats about to be plowed...1.compact dry snow does not enter the shute as fast

2.if the snow is wet it quite often gets stuck in the shute

  • Chute. It's CHUTE.....

  • @brachypelma Oh shit...!

  • hey that cool i dont know much about there snowblowers we used to have an ariens tiller that thing would tear up some relastate quik

  • i just got mine in Home Depot, Ariens 30 deluxe, agent said no more horse power for the future. I got 360 cc. I cant wait to use it . Ready for a super snow .

  • I'm ready too ! - (well, still working on the firewood) -my 927 has fresh oil, a new hour meter, (highly recommended), and a new shed to keep it out of the elements. C'mon snow - Lets GO !

  • now that is a great video. thanks for sharing that. i will forward this to our marketing team.

Here's to another 100 inches of snow.

    Dan Ariens

  • Thank you - ( it is a long video), and not once did my machine ever slow down.. I am looking forward to next snow season.

I hope you are wrong Al Gore...

  • Hey man...that video was frickin great...you sure have lots of snow to contend with thats for sure. How old is your machine...from the logo I am assuming it is a 2008 model????

I think this video really shows how Ariens can handle the snow. Looks like some of your banks are nearly 5-6 feet, how much snow fall do you get per year?

Thanks for the video, great machine and nice touch with the music...just awesome !!!

    Cheers

  • Thanks for the compliments. My Ariens was purchased December 20th, we usually get quite a bit of snow. Over 150 inches last year, and already over 100 inches so far this year. It has rained since I made the video, very icy now and a mess. I look forward to lower temps and more snow to throw! The music is just loops - not all that great; but when I went to upload before, I had some music that youtube said had copyright issues and would not post, so I had to go back and redo whole video...

  • @solaremf4u2

you got a great machine and you also are a pro. What I can't believe is the amount of snow you guys have...makes me wanna cry ....Vancouver BC...45 F and raining

  • @Coronakid67 I don't think they make my model anymore. Some years we get lots of snow and others vary, the winter of 1996-97, I had way over 20 feet that came down around here and it was a mess. Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video.
