You say there is THE "Old Covenant" and the "New Covenant." What is the Old Covenant? Aren't there multiple covenants made in the "Old" Testament? Which covenant is it that you say that is the old one?
@bmccall11 The Old Covenant was the Law & all the requirements(over 600) for righteousness(which we couldn't fulfill, (Romans ch.2,3&4:all) Christ was the fulfillment of the Old Covenant/Testament.) The Messiah, Christ, shed His pure blood to redeem mankind. The New Covenant/Testament is to receive Jesus Christ, the Messiah, as Lord(master) & believe GOD, His Father raised Him from among the dead & we shall be saved, or be made whole, with body, soul & NOW SPIRIT.. We live to KEEP HIM LORD !!
The New Covenant is stated in Jer 31:31-34 and a repeat of scripture in Hebrews chapter 8 I believe. What is interesting about this New Covenant is it says "no more shall man teach his neighbor nor his brother saying "know the LORD" for they ALL shall know me from the least of them to the greatest." See this has not happened yet. It goes on to say that God will forgive their crooked deeds and remember their sin no more. Once again has not happened. Paul refers to this new covenant in romans 11.
Great video...very well explained. I did the same in a video a ways back...I'll post it as a video response. I also love your youtube name and think I will subscribe.
