they dont make toys like they used to, wish I knew what my old man did with his from when he was a boy, but that information went with him to the grave, shame, bet you could sell it for quite a few bucks.

Never had the helmet ... but I SOOO loved my Johnny 7 1-Man-Army. And yet ... there's no way I'd let my little guy fire those hard-plastic bullets around the house! I can't believe my parents actually BOUGHT me that thing for Christmas. Gawd, how I wish I still had it. That was THE ultimate army toy, boys!

When I was a kid, anyone who had a plastic toy store army helmet instead of an Army Surplus M1 liner was looked at in silent pity. This stuff was ALWAYS dorky!

I asked for the Johnny 7 One Man Army gun for my 9th or 10th birthday. I was told that if I wanted a something THAT expensive not to expect anything else. I got the gun. Only. :)
