I get most of them from eBay, trades, and alarms left over from renovations or abandoned buildings. I've also found a few on Craigslist.

Looks like a Faraday bell. I'd do this with my Simplex bell, but it's an AC bell and the 4050-85 is DC.

Yep, it is a Faraday bell. It's actually on a Simplex 4080 base since I don't have the original Standard one.

I figured it was Faraday. The Simplex bells at the school I attended for kindergarten sounded exactly like this.
