I think people should stop blaming the police offers. It is the government who should take all the blames, because they are the ones who are responsible for giving the powers to the police.

I was stopped from taking photos in a park, by the park police, and told that I could only take photo's if I was a student of photography, with a student ID. I was given a stern warning not to take any photos in the city, or my camera would be conviscated. Can you imagine being in the NYC, and not being able to take photo's. wow, you sound like an english anthropologist. It's true what you say. I went to watch Phantom of the Opera and had to obey the call of nature so visited the rest room only to find a couple screwing in the toilets. its the knee jerk reaction of how these cops have interpreted the anti terror rules. it can show that if a cop does not fully understand the rules then it causes chaos for ordinary citizens. But is it a law? but law is not written in stone and should be challenged.

I had the same thing happen to me while in NYC. I was stopped from taking photos in a park, by the park police, and told that I could only take photo's if I was a student of photography, with a student ID. I was given a stern warning not to take any photos in the city, or my camera would be conviscated. Can you imagine being in the NYC, and not being able to take photo's. What's wrong with this picture?
