  • I bet they would like dubstep :)

  • /watch?v=Ag5DT4Jcypg

Watch this short rave and comment.

  • ---Deafornot dot c om--- is an online community for deaf, ASL and hearing-

    impaired friends and singles!

Have fun with photos, message boards, chat, blog and more.

  • This proves it. EVERYBODY loves rave.

  • I have a friend who is deaf, we go to raves and she is perfectly fine with feeling the vibrations of the songs and bass.

  • These guys literally feel the rhythm better then most people at the club LOL.

  • The counselor on a deaf community Deafornot dot c om said that "People who may be defined as clinically deaf (unable to hear spoken language) may or may not be members of the Deaf community."

  • awww... I thought this video was going to be a bunch of deaf people at a rave!

  • the beginning seem's more 90's

  • awesome!

  • ya definately more clubbing than raving to bright to be "underground"

  • that seemed more like clubbing than raving.....

  • I hate how this video is edited. Other than that, it's pretty cool.

  • those are some really hot deaf chicks. i'm gonna have to learn how to sign....

  • help me understand please! do they feel the bass? and if so then the bass is the music!

  • Ok no. I've seen deaf clubs and been 2 one and trhe shit was creazy. This isnt a deaf rave.

  • Respect

  • they can really busta move =o

  • Deaf people are so hardcore party'ers! They are always the most social people I will ever know. I have deaf parents who are both completely deaf, my dad used to break dance, and my mom JUST LOVES to dance! If there was something like this around here, I guarantee they would be there.

I think it's so funny all the misconceptions hearing people have of deaf people. Deaf people are much more aware of vibrations than we will ever be.

  • OMG! i cant imagine how great the bass would feel then!

  • @MEb1718

100% agree with ya! My whole family is Deaf.

This Rave was in the U.K. there is B.S.L. (British Sign Language) in the begging of the video.

  • WHAT! NO really what!

  • I love it, the children are clever!

  • what is the name of the song at 1:45

  • missy elliott & timbaland- let it bump.

  • thanks man ;)

  • wow! great stuff!

  • init?

  • im Deaf and you say "WHAT THE FUCK" im agree with you

  • interesting... makes me wonna check out an event

  • believe me, I've been to plenty of raves

  • my friend is deaf, and she goes to regular raves.the vibrations are enough for her to feel the music.

  • Awesome! :)

  • I find it interesting that the deaf people were dancing better and more to the beat than a lot of "hearing" folks I see at clubs :)

  • It's because they rely on their sense of feel and when the sound waves vibrate off the floor and peoples bodies, they know what the beat is. Where hearing people rely on sound and not feelings of vibrations. It is interesting, I agree.

  • That's a great point. I know I'm not going to be able to completely tune out the sound, but I think maybe as an experiment the next time I'm out dancing I'll try to just feel the vibrations and try moving to that as opposed to sound. Should be interesting!

  • oh boy, we r still able to feel the music and by the way, not all people r totally deaf, some still have rest hearing!!

  • The guy in the red track suit was the best dancer. For all the ignorant people out there: Deaf people can still feel the music so why wouldn't there be music at the rave? Duh.

  • @CreativehandsASL Well, yeah, that's sorta the basis of rave music. It has to have a strong beat, strong enough to feel when it's being pumped through the gigawoofers in a club. *ears ringing*

  • Классно танцует в красном толстовке

  • and rappers LOL

  • They prefer to use bass... they feel it noob.

  • ke es esto?

  • wish they had this in the us.

  • Dizzee Rascal - Stand Up Tall

    UK GRIME STYLE

  • wots thetune at 0:26 ?

  • Are all the people in this video deaf?

  • Yea wow, much love to Deaf Rave, producers and fans! \_/,

Because the thing is we already dance liquid at rave and for the hands to be speaking in Rave. It communicates so much deeper than sound.

Think about it, perfect place to learn sign is Deaf Rave because you can hardly hear yourself or your mates over the music. Just move your body and keep your Hands high, Smile and tell your story. Get into it man!

Men and Women feel the vibrations!

    Express yourselves!

    Good luck everyone!

  • damn i didn't know that in europe has that many deaf people around there! that goes party a lot.

  • Where is the club? I never heard about it. if I know a club then I will to go!

  • I love to go to the club for the deaf that mmmmmmmmmm here Canary Islands have nothing.

    Greeting

    KiTTyRoSA Canaries

  • Trust the french.

  • Is there a sign for rave?

  • Is there a sign for rave, or is it just dance?

  • no its a party a gathering of people with like wants and thats to get fucked up for the most part the beats are fat !!

  • HEY HEY NOT FAIR!! Rave in Europe not even in TX, USA. DAMN!! I'm so jelous! I used to be Raver when I was young but now not any more. Inside my Spirit always to be raver. I wish IN TX set club DEAF RAVER (ppfftt) Lucky ya... Have fun tho (grin)

  • Actually, Friends and I used to go Rave Clubs at different cities in TX. I've heard several of them shutted down because of the laws because of several fatals for many reasons.

  • im a raver and i can sign! not deaf though, id totally be down!

  • droppedsoap LOL are you really... what i think you are ?

  • Where is that at: ofc none of them are in USA, only other side of earth

  • i think this great.........rave for deaf people...everybody should enjoy ......lol

  • WHERE IS THIS AT

  • srry abt the last comment, it was my friend.

    I really like this video!

  • ironic, no subtitles in the video.

  • Hahah XD

  • Nice comment.

  • meeeeeeee toooooo i wish join in UK

  • Where that at>? I wanna join

  • that was fookin wicked. brilliant concept and so much respect for those breakdancers, like it isnt hard enough without even being able to hear the tunes! yeah, thats ace.

  • Hey people. As I am deaf myslef, and deaf people can FEEL it out of the floor virbartion,I have been studie dance course for 3 years,I have learn out of my rhythm and count out of the virbration out of the floor, If you wanna check that out, better go and see yourslef, we wont bite you!!! you wouldnt thought about the music too, basely very loud then you thought! that how we feel out of the vibe, that the answear don't mean that deaf people cannot hear the MUSIC but we FEEL it

  • Cryms0n: They can feel the beat. With how loud the music is playing, its kinda hard to be off beat when the bass is rattling your rib-cage, so i would assume they would play the music, and for good reason.

  • the question is, do they really play music at this raves, or do they just pretend to because the people can't hear the music anyway?

I also wonder how everyone dances on beat if everybody is deaf and can't hear the music, everyone's rhythm is subjective.

    Interesting idea though

  • hmmmm. . . ok

  • That Wonderful Full Deaf Dance ofc I wish there !!!! only Deaf Dance.

  • yeah, i wanna be there too

  • i wouldnt mind go there...sounds fun!
