First you have to lift off the first cover behind it. Afterwards, you have to slide the main cover off. Note that you need a lot of pressure to slide this cover off and it can prove a bit frustrating.
@sargentaaron2004 Try adding only horizontal force to the cover. I made the mistake of pushing downwards on the arrow markings instead. Simply slide your fingers with the direction that the arrows are pointing without pushing down into the cover. Since the plastic has pretty good grip, It should magically slide off.
I just purchased this and cannot for the life of me figure out how to open the back of the Smart Guide display to put the batteries in...please help : (
@desireejaclyn To me, i didn't do anything to put ths batteries in the Smart Guide. At first, it is working. :) ... sorry i can't help you. you should ask store you bought.
@kaspire80 After 20 minutes searching online, I finally figured it out : ) The batteries were separate in the package, so I definitely had to load them. The problem was there was an extra plastic casing that you could apply a mounting strip to to hang on the mirror or whatever...the slide off cover for the batteries was hidden underneath that
My Smart Guide stopped working. Is there a battery to change? If so, how in the world do you open the guide? Thanks!
