You remind me of Cottard from The Plague by Albert Camus. He's also a small bald man who completelly misenterprets The Trial as a piece of entertainment or commercial thrill. IT's CALLED AUBSURDISM! Read about it.
I read somewhere there was no how the character Joseph K. would find out what he was accused of because the idea is that the superior tribunal was transcendent (therefore inacessible). And so his "crime" would be linked back to the original sin.
Also, this is part of the kafkian universe, isn't it? To have some invincible force of authority persecuting you, even when the persecution is seemingly not based on anything logical.
I LOVE seeing people excited about books ! That is sooooo cute ! I have just been introduced to Kafka. I have only read the Metamorphosis. The other short stories in the book I will finish tonight. Kafka is definitely different in his writing style. Happy Reading !
you act like a little girl with her favorite doll. so cute =) and ive never read a book that hasnt been finished. so does it take away from it? make the book less enjoyable?
I agree with you on the Stephen Hawking's Universe in the nutshell. Very, very good book. Sometimes I wonder how is it possible that the contents of it (and, of course, contents of any other theoretical physics book) aren't widely known, for the dilemmas and informations presented in there are so closely linked with our day-to-day lives.
to tnt420 and davesghola, i would just like to say i have seen the movie perfume and it is by far one of my favorite movies i have not yet read the book however i have hurd by many people it is better then the movie. I came aware of this book/movie as the nirvana song scentless apprentice was based on the book.
you seem like a book lover ill give a book u will love it is Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Süskind its a movie i have not seen the movie yet i want to and if it anything like the book it it should the better then good im not going to say much about it other then you will love it.

I was Kafka for a while, but then I realized my body wasn't a bug, it was a monkey.
