@jazzmanEE Unfortunately when you have money you get cocky, do drugs and so on. The only way he will change is if he gets poor. However I like his attitude. I do agree though that he needs to get along with people better. He can still have his attitude and be nice to the people and family he hangs with like Noel. We cant blame it all on Liam though. It takes two people to split up...just like it takes all the members of the band to split.

Liam is a fuckin dosser. Just few years ago I regarded him with some respect, as someone who has the balls to speak his mind out. Now I think he's fucking alcohol addicted Idiot who needs to offend other people to lift up his sick ego. Not able to accept criticism, not able to cooperate and hence not able to progress. His voice often sounds shit live , and that's not only my opinion. Actions like spitting on the audience are not regarded as cool Liam.

I think Liam has had much positive feedback for his "bad boy" behaviour but it has become rather ridiculous than cool over the years in my opinion. Sayings which may be cool on stage are not constructive to have a good work with his brother.

I saw Noel sing the entire concert in Chicago back in 96 without his spoil brat brother. Liam felt it was more important to move his girlfriend at the time to her new place, and miss a couple of concert dates.

Noel was great without Liam! Can't wait for Noel solo album to come out.

Blur weren't more talented...their most popular songs were rip-offs, Oops I mean satires, of the pop music of the day. Country House, Song 2, Boys and Girls, etc

Basically they took aspect of what was already popular and reworked it into a different song. The only difference is that when Oasis inspiration from worthwhile bands

The people who made those songs hits didn't even appreciate the satire. Their biggest hit in the US, Song 2, is a satire of their music at the time...but do the Americans care? No...it slots perfectly with the rest of the mindless crap from that era.

Generations from now when we are all dead, and Damon isn't around to contextualize his music anymore, Song 2 will sound like a mindless pop song and Live Forever will still sound like a genuine gem.
