  • That's fucking crazy man.

  • Give me back my phone...

    - No!

  • good evening...mr.freeman...

  • gman, holy shit man, i didnt know you went out clubbing!

  • This has to be one of the most intense scary scenes ever. Along with the diner scene in mulholland drive. Notice how the music stops as they converse and you are unaware there is actually a party going on around them.

  • Haha is it just me or do the short replies sound like microsoft sam..?

    Still awesome though!

  • He´s from the phreaking IRS

  • htakf jiahs, yues! That's fucking crazy man!

  • kurvajó!

  • georkarpkd r u sure that the mystery man represents emotion??? i was thinking that represends the bad self of fred... i've watched at least 10 times this great movie but i still haven't understand it 100% :-( Am i stupid??? lol.

  • @fumerofum co screenwriter Barry Gifford describes the Mystery Man as "a product of Fred's imagination...the first visible manifestation of Fred's madness." Look for a description of "fugue state," for one possible explanation of Fred's situation.

  • What is he the debbil?

  • Tune

  • Psycho aber hat Stil :)

  • in love with Lynch's movies...

  • @BennDickz me too...

  • what THE FUCK?

  • Very good, Thoughtsurfer1 - exactly right. The only other part that was truly compelling was where the parents obviously knew some terrifying secret, and we could not somehow resolve this. That night scene on the front lawn was fantastic - but what was it about?

  • It's fucking crazy, man!

  • The Mystery Man is a vampire! He can't come into your home unless you invite him like he says in this classic clip!

David Lynch is a genius at creeping us out!

  • This is the most awesome and creepiest scene in the history of cinema.

The only thing that I wish the Mystery Man didn't do was to look away to the side while walking down the stairs. If he would have kept eye contact with him the entire time it would have been flawless.

  • Look at Fred's tatoo. On his hand...

  • I like this scene xD And movie too...

  • A very satifying scene stuck in an unsatisfying movie.

  • @thoughtsurfer1 I disagree. I enjoyed the movie, however I am a big Lynch fan.

  • I saw the movie. Was kinda confused, who is this mystery man supposed to be? A devil helping Fred?

  • he represents "emotion"

    Hack lorand represents logic...

fred is forgetting logic is run by emotion and this is why he kills his wife at the end...

  • Interesting. Great movie by far.

  • It's the first clue that "Fred" is descending into madness.

  • @AngryInIllinois You are in fact the first person I've ever heard state that. And I completely agree. The Mystery Man is Fred's imagination.

  • dial your number... give me back my phone..
