  • I use # 27 to annoy my mom

  • ITS DARKVADER... RUN!!!

  • WHY IS WILLIAMS ON HERE

he just stole Dvorak's symphonies. /:

  • it's a sad reflection of our society that i know half of the top 30 from commercials

  • @ShowtekGER Hey! What about Tom and Jerry or Loony Toons?!

  • @ShowtekGER Why is it sad? At least you're being exposed to it. It will be a sad day when the majority of people say they've never heard any of these pieces before.

  • loony toons anyone?

  • my schools choirs think they rock but i would like to see them sing flower duet, queen of the night, or figaro

  • gershwin IS MY FAVORITE!

  • How is the Star Wars theme Classical? If anything it's Orchestrated, but not Classical....

  • Just love this! Amazing that no-one has thought of such a format b/4. Something is missing, though: my favorite Paderewski's menuet in G.

  • moonlight sonata makes me wanna cry!!

(it's so beautiful makes u wanna cry(-avril lavigne- innocence))

  • fucik ?

  • @rockossssonline213 Julius Fučík (1872-1916), Czech composer.

  • @rockossssonline213 Pronounced FOO-chik btw :)

  • @kickassclassical almost swear when i read that

  • @rockossssonline213 czech author Fučík

  • 26 :D

  • Entry of the Gladiators by... Fucik x_x

  • Goes to show you that Cartoons are good for children. Over 70% of these songs came from Looney Toons. :)

  • Imperial March ^_^ hee hee . OH YEAH

  • So Imperial March is Classical, but not Mars or Jupiter? That ain't right.

  • Awesome how #24 was slipped in there

  • youd be surprised how much Classical music the normal person knows when you go through this list

  • i think this table is mistake. all of them number one.

  • 29 is a circus song so it sound's funny but it's called 'Entry of the Gladiators' and as we all know that is not going to be funny, at least to most people.

  • #25 Juventino Rosas apareció en la lista... qué bien....

  • Yay Bolero!

  • Hahaha yeah I know.. It's just a little weird, but hey, john williams deserves his place. He's damn good afterall.

  • how can star wars be in here? i mean, it's a classic but seriously?

  • @haaatz It's widely known, and this being a Most Popular list and all.

  • @haaatz I know what you mean, that came as a total surprise.

  • #28 Superb!

    #24 <3

    #22 without words

  • 22 - Wolfenstein :-D

  • omg omg edward scissorhands 24 <33333333

  • #21 reminds me of something, like in a movie set in new york. :P

  • The Imperial March is neoclassical. It has a classical feel to it, so I salute you in including it. -bows down-

  • #28 I heard Schroeder from "Peanuts" play this often in the TV specials (I know he's a huge Beethoven fan).

    #24 Heard it in "Fantasia".

  • I love how like half of these are either in Fantasia or in any Stanley Kubrick film.

  • EPIC it doesn't even say "john" just.. Williams EPIC

  • STAR WARS O______O нихуя себе :D

  • Entry of the Gladiators is the Rick Roll'd of song titles

  • seems to be a lot of soundtracks here, but i cant recall the movies :)

  • I love Moonlight Sonata and Bolero.

  • Entry Of The Gladiators- most misleading title in the history of titles.

  • @Yuvilastor Yeah, and its poor composer is probably just remembered for being the guy whose name looked like a swear word.

  • @Yuvilastor Only in modern time though, Entry of the gladiators originally was played for, well, gladiators.

  • @ronansher Realy? Because the song was written sometime in the late 19th century. Gladiators only existed in roman times.

  • @Yuvilastor

yeah, I always associate it with clowns and stuff.

  • @Yuvilastor why is that?

  • @zetsuai09 Sarcasm? No..? Oh well....

A song with the word "gladiator" in its title should sound like mozarts requium.

  • geees u scared me at 29! my volume was too load

  • I LOLed at the Star Wars one. Jolly good!

  • fur elise should be #1

i remember that song from when i was a baby, it was in my toys that made me sleep in my crib

    classics :")

  • I do love Bolero, but it seems I have a version I've never heard anywhere else. the usual version is rather chipper and light, the version I found is dark and heavy. Loooot of brass.

  • Comment removed

  • 28? Should be 8

  • #29: Reminds me of going to the circus. :)

    #26: "Luke..I am your father!"

#25: Skating on a pond in the middle of winter.

#22: Moonlight Sonata sounds a little sad. :(

  • Hey do you know any popular classical song with the melody that stays within 2 octaves? Please answer :D

  • @TheGTRacer97 I'm gonna take a long shot, and guess that you're gonna do Minecraft note block music? :)

I believe Ode to Joy is within two octaves though.

  • @Theninja347 In fact I AM gonna make minecraft note block music :P

  • j'adore l'enchaînement de la reine de la nuit avec la guerre des étoiles (when

Luke's father follows the queen of the night, darkness after light... weird, isn't it!)

  • Star Wars O_O

  • wow... i heard every single one of the 100 songs before but i didn't know ANY of the titles ._.

... that's it, ima start collecting classical music now xD

  • 23 - tales of legendia? o.O

  • Omg Star Wars xD

  • Can you just get your own CD out please? i cant bee assed finding all these songs, the funny thing is am 17 and know 98% of these songs LOL

  • starwars is not classical music!

  • @LordJasonGarfield Exactly, if it was, then Danny Elfman and Hanz Zimmer should also be featured!

  • i always though Imperial March was an originaly composed piece for Vadar. Awesome match though!

  • I broke out laughing at the presence of John Williams on this list. Kudos to you, for including it, though. Wounderful.

  • # 26 STAR WARS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • woooooooooo star wars!

  • should pop movie soundtracks be included?

  • how in the world is John Williams considered a classical composer???

  • @musiclover16ish He is not, but the style of music is considered classical.

  • flower duet makes me think of two beautifull women swiming naked underwater

  • thanx!! HOP!!! HOP!!

  • its funny how i know most of these songs from cartoons

  • bolero = digimon

  • @Pato88888

    hahaha yeah :)

  • @Pato88888 ???

  • @TeutonicEmperor1198 in a digimon episode they put this song, and it was beautiful

  • isnt 25 from mary poppins ??

  • Hands down the best was imperial march. Cmon it's star wars!

  • Look people, Beethoven Symp 9 is Number UNO, regardless of what these twits think, and really Beethoveen 5, Piano Concerto Number 3, Moonlight Sonata and probably 3-5 other works would/should be in the top 20.

  • @curt123

It's not based on their opinions. It's based international. People vote/download and then it gets its place in the list. Don't get worked up about it, jeez.

  • WOOO IMPERIAL MARCH

  • all this music is all my life

  • Fur elise has to be higher on the list. It just has to.

  • 16 people get their ass kicked by classical music

  • beetoven für elise

  • how does moonlight sonata not place in top 10??

  • Imperial march wins.

  • Bolero always reminds me of music from the Final Fantasy games.

  • I'm a bit mixed about the Williams inclusion... Not that it doesn't deserve recognition, but he would be someone I'd consider more neo-classical, and group him with composers such as Koichi Sugiyama, Nobuo Uematsu, and Koji Kondo (Super Mario Brothers anyone?) who are equally as talented as their predecessors but have written their music post 1975.

  • 26 EPIC STARWARS MUSIC!

  • my reaction to the transition from 30 to 29:

its so calm...aagasdgjklasljgalksavasvnk...surprise loudness in my ears lol

  • john williams is classical? huh whoda thunk

  • @SSGTWinters

"classical music" is a genre defined by the style of the music and the instruments used.

John Williams has as much right to be in this list as George Gershwin.

  • 0:28 fucik

  • I thought 26 was made by the composer for Star Wars...learn something everyday

  • @123blue93 it is......

  • @123blue93 hahaha, it was! John Williams was it's composer ;P

  • For some reason, the first thing that popped into my head during the Flower Duet (30) was Courage the Cowardly Dog... ?....

  • its funny how i dont own one classical music cd but i know every one of these songs

  • I'm surprised of how many of these are used in many popular films!

  • Rhapsody in Bluuueee !!!!

  • darth vader!!!! #26 haha!
