  • Brave warriors! Greetings from Bulgaria!

  • nää on niitä THE SOTILAITA!!

  • Respect to our Northern Brothers!!

    Greetings from Germany

  • Terminaattorimusa kävi aika hyvin. :D On noi jätkätkin aikamoisia terminaattoreita.

  • Mahtipontinen musa teki tästä videosta jotain .

    Kotiin päin ;)

  • Armottoman kovia jätkiä!

  • wish i was sent to train with them =/ oh well

  • These comments are ridiculous, lets get one thing clear from the start: the Finnish combat divers are conscripts trained for 12 months and then discharged. If we wish to compare them to the navy SEALs, who are professional soliders picked from the elite of the US military, a military which is significantly larger than the Finnish.

It is in no way possible to train a special forces operator in 12 months, no way in hell.

And btw, im Finnish so this is not biased. Just some clear facts...

  • @reservkatt Wow, I am shocked, almost every Finnish military training video on the Internet that I have watched is usually bashing the US military, so this is a nice change of pace, I'm American by the way so no one is really going to listen to me. Thanks for supporting us.

  • @PokemonHaloFan

Hahahah I havent seen anyone bashing US military. We mostly bash Russians and Swedens army though...

  • @xB4LL50F5T33Lx as a Norwegian former officer I say that you got nothing close to the Swedish unit called SSG in Finland (Yeat)

  • @mrtrue1000 Well, never heard of 'em.Could be.But how you know that they are better? How you know we got nothing close to them?Have you been in Finnish or Swedish forces?

  • @xB4LL50F5T33Lx The SSG like the Norwegian FSK and MJK are trained and selected by the SAS and you might have something similar? I have a finnish friend who was a coastal ranger, who knows agreat deal.

  • @mrtrue1000

There is no use for those kinds of units here in Finland. We barely have any troops in Afghanistan (unlike the Swedes, Danes and Norwegians), so no need to train those units. Our biggest concern is over 1000km of borderline with Russia (something that other Nordic countries don't have), so we might just aswell train our army for that. No need to have a group of selected soldiers, because there would be very little use for that when fighting inside our borders.

  • @mrtrue1000 Too bad that if you would bee in Norwegian army you would know litle better about this mater. So shut it up will you ?

  • @ospehu1 This is just a basic elite-unit! You could find em all over the world the last 40 years. But I´m sure the Finnish army is having or are forming their own "SAS" unit since all the Scandinavian countrys got one?

My comment was to all these people bashing on Sweden and calling their army "gay-army" etc. So dont take it personally!

  • @mrtrue1000 I don't think Finland needs a "SAS" unit. We already have Guerilla Battalions, Utti's Brigade and Combat Divers. We don't need to copy someone else's (Britain's) special forces to feel comfortable. We must be able to counter invading force in order to feel comfortable. Be innovative, not imitative.

We in Finland have very high rate of patriotism, and this results in loud kids bashing Sweden during the must-undergo, denied inferiority complex towards Sweden -phase.

  • @OnlyLifeMatters why do you guys have such an inferiority complex towards us swedes anyway? I dont get it and neither does many other swedes. I know your history, being a part of Sweden, but I mean come on! We´re two seperate nations today and we´re very much like brothers. Why dont you people just come to terms with that complex, its not like people in Sweden laughs at finnish people which it seems like finnish people thinks..

  • @antibulletdodger101 Well, the thing is that we're not. Finns have to study Swedish language as MANDATORY subject for six years. And OH DEAR GOD it sucks! Not that it's your fault in any way though...we should be mad at our government that keeps it that way. But it goes deeper than that, many veterans felt betrayed when Sweden didn't join our campaign against Soviet Union back in WW2. It was like your best friend/brother stabbed you in the back. I don't think it was your responsibility, though.

  • I get your point about the language issue, although you cant change peoples native tounge overnight and your people have to be able to communicate. About WW2.. well, personally I think we shouldve fought together with you. If we would have Sweden and Finland would´ve been even tighter today. Maybe even having sharing a combined army. Still its not that easy. Sweden had, and still has, a law that prevents us from engaging in assults on an enemy on turf other than our own. But sure, its debatable

  • @antibulletdodger101 I personally would prefer the alternative where Finnish-Swedish state still existed. C'mon, we were one sovereign country for over 600 years, we used to be a true European superpower. It can't end like this, it shouldn't end like this. We are like two twin siblings that were separated from each other, but if we work hard, we can still have a reunion.

Federation system, unified army, non-Nato, non-EU, conscription, maybe a new capital to neutral DMZ of Ahvenanmaa/Åland?

  • I like the idea, but one cant be naive. If you look at it reasonably it will never happen. I dont think it should really matter either, Sweden and Finland with always be close, but you cant change the past to that extent. And it might not make things better economical wise. In my opinion strengthening the army is not what our countries need, we are not close to war and dont have to join in on any either. But if we had this debate during the cold war, then yes. For sure.

  • @antibulletdodger101 Hah, I know that it wont happen. You see, I like the idea itself as well. Yet I'm not naive.

That is the reason I'm in for EU, because chances for that becoming a strong state are high - actually, it is only a matter of time.

  • @mrtrue1000 Sorry to get back to this subject but I might have some information that could interest you, regarding what you just said.

Finnish army actually does have a "SAS" unit, it's called the Special Jaegar Battalion. The members of the battalion receive intense and versatile training that lasts for 14 months. In military hierarchy, Special Jaegar Battalion is set to operate as a part of Utti Jaeger Regiment, alongside Airborne Jaeger Battalion, Support Company and Helicopter Battalion.

  • @xB4LL50F5T33Lx

Then maby you should read some more of history of war. We trained all the basic U.S army speacial ops when they where made. Green barrets was trained by AKA Larry Thorn (Lauri Törni) Whom was trained by Finnish army and Waffen SS as an recon officer. Navy seals got there basic training for this guys you see on video. Delta Force use Finnish army querrilla tactics and it was trained to them by SAS whom got it from Finland And our army got there training From Waffen SS Vikings

  • @ospehu1 Niin..?

  • @xB4LL50F5T33Lx

Sorry tais tulla väärään osoitteeseen vahingossa

  • @ospehu1 Ei mitää

  • @reservkatt Yeah but that's because Finland hasn't been in a real War since World War II. They don't have to worry about making their Special Forces as Combat Effective as Humanely possible. The United States on the other hand finds itself fighting a new war every 9 months or something like that. And now that they are fighting an enemy that can hide in the Mountains of Afghanistan no problem and use lightning fast Guerilla Attacks against them, the Navy SEALS have to be Badass to fight them,

  • You guys do realize that this is a recruitment video for a conscript army? :)

  • @KekkonenKalasti It's an elite group, but it is still a recruitment vid :)

  • @KekkonenKalasti

Oi Mr. Kekkonen ... are you talking to yourself ?

    :-P

    Terminator 2 soundtrack: Trust Me

  • sääli ettei laivasto osta hapenkierrättimiä ja korvaa noita vempeleitä niillä, sillä nykyisellä kalustolla nuo poikaparat ammutaan jo veden alle :(

  • @XIIIphobos

Jos siis tarkoitat suljetunkierron happilaitteita kyllä suomen armeijalta niitäkin löytyy

  • @ospehu1 no huhhuh, mietinkin että mitä helvettiä :D

  • Se on suurimmaksi osaksi maanalainen tukikohta, eikä kyseisessä kuvassa näy mitään arkaa sotilasmateriaalia -eihän google earth mikään live ole. Voisivat testata kilometrin mittaista avaruusalusta eikä kukaan huomaisi.

  • Wikipedia: Talvisota: "Suomalaisia auttamaan halukkaat maat olivat kaukana.

  • onneks on isot reservit.

  • @gazeefinn

Joo, tosi kovat. Kysytään haluatko tarkka-ampujaks.

  • this is terminator 2 soundtrack.... but the army are the real terminators....

  • Missä on arska? Musiikki kuuluu mutta arskaa ei näy.

  • Suomiha oli yks parhaista armeijoista 60-luvulla: oli rynnäkkökivääreitä, maastopukuja (oikein käännettäviä malleja ;) ) tankkeja, miehiä jne.

  • jep, paperilla oltiin yksi moderneimmeista armeijoista tuohon aikaan.

Koska ME! SUOMALAISET! EI VITTU OTETA PASKAA MUILTA! JO TALONPOIKAIS AIKAAN MEITÄ PELÄTTIIN KUN HYÖKÄTTIIN HUUTAEN "HAKKAA PÄÄLLE! HAKKAA PÄÄLLE!!! SAATANA!!"

  • Kevyesti? Haista paska.

  • ignore the russians-.-...they think they are rhegreatest and do what they want...cut the gaslines in middle of winter to other countries...they take over foreigne factories in theyr country when they have grown..they atack lillte countries when they want and say lots of stupid thing and dont listen to others-.-

Jatkakaa hyvää työtä ni me hoidetaan rajalla loput.

  • On ne kovia, mut eiks noi erikoisjääkärit kans oo aika kovia? En meinaa laskuvarjojääkäreitä enkä erikoisrajajääkäreitä. Vaan ihan erikoisjääkäreitä. Sinnehän pääsee vaan jo varusmiespalveluksen suorittaneet ammattilaiset. Muihinhan taitaa päästä suorittamaan varusmiespalvelusta (jos siis on kova :D eihän noihin ketään tissiposkia oteta)

Korjaa jos nyt oon ihan väärässä.

  • Noo joo tota, noita on aika vaikee lähtee vertailee. Koulutus on kuitenkin melko erilaista. Toiset häärää vedessä, toiset betonihelvetissä. Ovat molemmat osapuolet kuitenkin melko kovaa sakkia.

  • Kick ass divers.

  • todella kananlihalle nostava video!

    kiitän!

  • Yes, we did lose a part of our land and many fine young men in the battle agaist the Soviets. For a small country it hit hard.

But what we did win was freedom. If we hadnt stopped the millions of attacking russians, we would have got our freedom in 1990 when the USSR fell apart.

So don't say we did lose. We didnt need your help.

And you are again on the path of losing. Even you are heavily outnumbering the opponent. You can't win the war against determined people.

  • Whatta hell Yankees are speaking!?

Red Army attacked to Finland in second WW with over ONE MILLION SOLDIERS and still Finns keep their freedom.

4m population (in ww 2) vs 600m (about in ww2).

Finns are wolrd's bests forest fighters, now and forever.

  • usan idiootiti voisivat pitää turpansa kiinni

  • Tought guys! Hats off!

  • Finland is the only country who fought a land war in the second world war and wasn't occupied by a foreign power.

  • You are correct and incorrect. We got slightly bruised. But however the ruskies still have their nourishment through a feeding tube. =) And.. we didn´t get any boot up a da arse by germans. You know, it is you who need more research and information. Sauna always beats a fucking iraqi desert where your "military machine" keeps eating IEDs. Hooaah Fallujah! Sounds like Nam, huh? Even the russians weren´t so shitty as ur pussy troops. Hooraah!! Keep countin´ em´ coffins, cowboy!

  • Fact is that only Finland was able to stop Red Army strategic offensive before it reached it's objectives. Wehrmacht could not do that. Finland was the only country that fought alongside Germany that was NOT occupied after the war. Soviets really did try to take over Finland, they really tried. And they failed.

And of course Finland lost a lot of men. What else would you expect after fighting two wars against the biggest military power in the World?

You really ought to learn some history

  • Not lot as Russia.

  • compared to soviet losses Finns did awesome

  • I think you should be quiet now, cos I know that the Finnish military has a hard line when pushed and our seals have trained and "Learnt " form Finnish special forces.

  • Hey timmytango!I've always considered US. Army troops as a good fellows, but you are such self-loving bunch of bitches and faggots. I can see that now! You should thank us, finns, for your "special ops" tactics! How about another lesson of navy seals, based on FINNISH COMBAT DIVERS TACTICS! Or Delta force, pinnacle of US. Army, partially trained by some veterans of Finnland's army like Lauri Törni, who sadly died in Vietnam when your helicopter fell. Also, Finnlands army is 12. largest in europe

  • By the way, your invasion in Normandy is in the matter of fact a picnic when compared to Tali-Ihantala offensive or Winter War's first weeks. They were 3 times bigger than that invasion, and they didn't have German war machine against them, but developing country, Finland. And we kicked their ass badly. Now soviet union does not exist - its former states are in economical crisis, and in some of 'em are at war. Finland has exellent healthcare and social system. Don't u think that is an victory?

  • @timmytango timmy, it seems to me that the only definite truth around this video commentary is that YOU. Are. Full. OF. shit. as an american, you have no right to even open your mouth, when it comes to the FDF, or the finnish military history.

  • @XIIIphobos Why don't you drink a nice steaming cup of SHUT THE FUCK UP! Finnish military history... LOL

  • @whatanitwit bitch you have something that'll actually weigh more than your babylona-america -shit? why don't YOU tell us a little bit of finnish military history, inshallah?

  • First of all if there ever was a real war against Germans we won. Second dont fucking come say something like Russian kicked our ass, we are free nation. More free then yours. And we had such colossal battles in WW2 that Normandy landings and Battle of Bulge is nothing to Raatteen tie or Tali-Ihantala. And Germans would have kicked your ass back to the sea if their 80% of men, armour and other equipment wouldn't have been in eastern front

  • Nyt tais mcnagetilta mennä hieman jotain ohi.

Tapelkaa sen jenkin kanssa, älkää toistenne. ;)

  • LOL, what a dumb american... Uninformed Bush lover.

  • Maybe you should read some history you dumbass redneck.

    Facts:

    -Finland was allied with nazi-germany

-Soviet-union attacked Finland with about 1,5 million men and lost over 1million, Finland lost only 80000 :D. I would call that a victory.

-Since Germany was losing the war, Finland had to break the alliance and drive 200000 alpjaeger germans out of Finland, otherwise the whole world would be against us.

  • -USA got only the crumbling remnants of wehrmacht and those german elders and little boys were nothing compared to the fully trained and battle hardened german alpenkorps.

-Sauna is refreshing and doesn´t block bloodvanes like your fatsoburgers.

-LARRY THORNE WAS FINNISH, YOU DICKHEAD. And if your choppers were finnish made and not have broken down from under Major Thorne, you would have won the Vietnam war! He was real life Rambo!

  • No ei nyt ihan =9 Ja hyvä etteivät voittaneet.

  • Just shut up IED:eater.

  • Great to the Force Fins as the Fin of Choice!!!! Great video all the way through!

  • And that comment is from Dumb Usa.

First of all. Soviet union had a MILLION more men in both wars+ the best weapons. Prize for the winner was Finland and we kept the land. Even Stalin said that they failed. About 500 000 enemies died in Finland and we lost only about 50 000 men. They had tanks and we had only firebottles to destroy them.

You say we lost against Germany??? Read your books stupid shit. Only war against Germany was Lappland's war and that was our victory. READ READ READ

  • Keep telling that to yourself...

  • Are u outta your fucking mind? U lil hillbilly prick, go fuck your cousin. Please, dear timmytango-faggot, don't embarrass us all by talking shit

  • Germans? what? we didn't fought against Germany? Russians said we have to kick them out of Finland, and we did that. Read history.

  • Navy seals actually lost 100-0 to these guys

  • Yeah, of course! They were trained by these guys =). And RK95 TP with optics is undeniably one of the best guns in the world...and definetley beats shit outta H&K416 and M4, and what Navy Seals have against their former mentors and their mentor's Sisu???:D

  • Cool finnish army is better what i ´think :D

  • Uhh?? what?, who?...send where? ...what a hell are you talking about??

  • SEALs are part of US military and these guys in the video are part of Finnish Defence Forces.

  • No eipä naurata kauaa enää, sillä poistumaan joudut sinäkin hyvin pian. :D

  • These ARE the original SEALs, if you don't take it literally. I am bored to say this, but always as proud; YOUR SEALS ARE TRAINED BY THESE GUYS!! Also your Delta forces are part-finn-trained. And they use APC's from Finnland. Every time you see your SEALs, you see some part of these guys. Show some respect!

  • Actually Delta were originally modelled after the SAS. But yes part of the training are by fin

  • Very true. There are only little fin-training in Delta force, but what fins did taught to them was the tactics of insurgery, resistance and guerila fighting, and those tactics were given as military advices during Vietnam War, and USA used them to hunt down several Vietkong members. There is no denying that Delta is basically v.2 of SAS, but SAS tries to hunt down insugents and rebels, and fins told how they behave.

  • Also, finish experience of fighting in wooden enviroment was vital for fightin in Vietnam's jungels. :D. But I'd say that finland's part of training Delta's is very small when compared to SAS. Still, Navy Seals were modelled from Finish Combat Divers as much as Delta from SAS =)

  • And Lauri Törni oli kouluttamassa ja opettamassa modernia Green berets osastoa!

  • Törni was known as Larry Thorne in the US. :)

  • Where did you get that information: "Delta forces are part-finn-trained."?

  • It was trained partly by SAS and FDF give them the partisaan training and tactics. Sorry but it is the truth if you dont belive it ask from the English.

  • Ok. And what is your source of information? I in it..

  • I have serve in FDF from 2000 to 2001 and i have English friend who serve in SAS. And that fact that FDF was useing thes tactics long before Delta was establsih. And fact is also that Finland learn many of this basic thinks which are use from nazi SS troops before ww2 and was the only countrie which vere not conguered from alliance whit USA or Brit forces and was the only country which fight against USSR and was not congured and give a help and knowledge to you whitin cold war, continue....

  • And those "Special tactics" which you are giving them is basic tactics to meany serviceman of FDF. But anyway your USmic is admit it so maby your should to. It is frustrating explain this to some one who dont want to accept things that you tell them But you are still young country which have still plenty to learn and fact that we vere fight many wars before you even learn the wrigt and read skill's from the other Europeans...

  • And fact that by my self i can do most of this so-called special tactics.

  • Please some one give him a leson of European History will you ?

  • LoL!

I have been to my history class and I see that many people are ignorant about for an example, Sweden.

They think that Sweden didnt help us in the WW2, but the fact is that they did help.

And Im very suspicious that you have a friend in the SAS, or maybe hes in the airline company :)

  • Tell me something i dont know ? yes Sweeden help us whit volunteer soldiers i dont remember what was the excact number of volunteer's but there was swedish soldiers in war too!

  • He is In Special air service you noop and dont be so know-it all because you don seam to know it all. I dont say that i know all but in this mater i do gnow something :)

  • But why should i give shit about you or what you are saying? after all you vere only painting leg of the chair whit your own shit when i was already almost done my comprehensive school. So smell you later !

  • tough guy ? ha?

  • no but you seam to be such maby try to undurstand you just dont know all a bout everething in the world, First af all you dont know nothing about me and assume that i dont know what i am talking to you. underestimate me and my friend who you dont even know. And it give me picture of uneducated litle prick who dose not listen to eanybody and is underestimating every one he meet and is narcissist person thats all,

  • And you dont know me. So lets stop judging eachother were both being pricks now.

My bottomline was that I dont believe in everything they say in the Internet. Its called source critisicm.

All I wanted to know that is this information official, and of course to believe I wanted source.

Dont get rediciolous I can say that I know someone whose in the Navy SEALs or Specnaz would you believe? I guess no.

  • @p4ul1z i have a friend in the spetznaz (and VYMPEL too) and i know a guy who's a retired SEALs instructor. the world isn't that big a place.

  • @XIIIphobos And Barack Obama is my brother.

  • @p4ul1z believe waht u want, every russian knows every russian

  • Ok.

  • @Zombibombi62

No they aren't the 'original Seals'. They don't get trained by Combat Divers... Are you serious? Quit lying to protect your favorite branch. They are both amazing and are in different branches. So, get off Call Of Duty and get your facts straight. By the way I'm pretty sure BUD/s is harder than just about ANY other special forces training in the world, maybe other than British SAS. Quit putting your idols above other people's idols, thank you, both Seals and Combat Divers =Amazing

  • @ssDaNss Not anymore, 'course not. What I'm trying to say is that a part of SEAL training is based on tactics that were loaned to SEAL protocol at some point during Cold War. Also, as Finland's Defense Force was able to resist and retaliate Soviet Union's attack, USA became rather interested in these tactics. Green Berets and Navy special forces, in particular.

I didn't mean that SEAL troops would actually travel halfway the world to Finland to take a couple of lessons. No, not at all.

  • @ssDaNss Haven't you got any education!? Lauri Törni.... or Larry Thorne as you call him, was finnish.... and he made the special forces training that you nowdays have... it's based on our guerilla training that for example I have gone through... YOU have to get YOUR facts straight!

  • @88Freefall What you just said was technically considered as "Have not you got any education!?". Grammatically incorrect, thank you come again :). You're a fanboy.. Quit saying shit about Seals, your fat ugly ass couldn't pass basic. Now, idc because Seals have the most respect at the moment, so thank you asshole! :)

  • @ssDaNss Okay.... I didn't say shit about the Seals. Just about you. Cos I HAVE studied these things. And I have gone trough military. And maybe you run run 3600 meters in coopers test like me.. That's a test where you run 12 minutes. Maybe you should try that too.. you know.. running. And don't ask what running means.

  • Cool. finnish army \,,/ kick ass

  • Very Cool!

    I am impressed
