  • I thought it was going to be " That Crazy Little Thing Called Love ". But, surprise this one is even better! Bonnie has always had that slide thing going on and now she is right up there with the best. I think I will be listening to her alot more now. A girl on slide is very sexy! Huh? She really lays it all out there, kinda talks to you. She gets my vote for best female guitar player in the world to date. Yeah, she kinda talks to you.....

  • cool video. anyone out there know if there is a video of the two of them doing "I can't make you love me" with Bruce on piano?

  • @jbk0710 Yes and it's great!

  • Uh I mean't to say "rocking" not ricking! Too many beers tonight! LOL

  • Miss Bonnie! Oh One Cool Ricking Mama Here! Love her to bit's!

  • Damn She's hot! As a player, and as an incredibly soulful singer, AND....easy on the eyes. I love Bonnie like so many of us do, she seems to be an in credibly down to earth girl. Having Hornsby sing with her on this Hiatt song is fantabulous as well. Thanks for sharing this vid. Freakin Love LOVE it!

  • great, blessings forever...

  • Who's on harp?

  • Love her, love Bruce!!!

  • I discovered her music in college and have loved it from then on...

  • Apparently, 3 people are NOT ready for the thing called love.

  • @SoreBakka Love and music are very close ;-)

  • It is a Delicious...and a Delovely "Powerful Thing"...

I'm So Proud of You...Spittin' Lightning Bolts and all!!!

  • glad somebody finally got the word 'amoeba' into a song.

  • @Darryld1 Lol yes. It makes me smile every time I hear it :-) Go amoeba!

  • Bonnie is precisely one day younger than me.

  • Now where have I heard that name Bonny Raitt before? Oh, yeah! Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter movies! See IMDb for "what's behind that punchline."

  • Who has the video with Dennis Quaid??? Loved how they played off each other!

  • Why doesn't the video play all the way through? My you tube videos keep stopping and reloading or something - what is that all about? Please help/

  • @MarpoleTube Something's wrong with your web feed; it's just loading too slow. I don't have trouble with Youtube and I'm not on a particularly fast connection.

    Check with your service provider.

  • Hey Bruce, Can't you afford a digital accordion?

  • Bruce remains one of the squarest looking guys who can write/play/perform some of the most soulful music ever!

  • im diggin boogerfoots post

  • wow this song brings great fun memories heheehheeh are you ready for the thing called love?? hehheheeh swell so fun ;)) yeeeeeeeeeeehaw :)

  • I am a woman, and I just happen to be the woman of a man who works in the music industry as an audio engineer in a studio in downtown Nashville, TN. I am also the daughter of the man who was requested to fill in for Bob Segar's rythym guitarist while his wife was having a baby back in the day, so I know a bit about music basically. I LOVE BONNIE RAITT! She was b4 Joan Jett, (who is a bitch in perosn by the way), Pat Benetar, etc. She was the one and only voice for female rock and roll! LUV HER!

  • Pure musical interactive sensuality.

  • Are you kidding me!

    How cool.

  • Brilliant! Thanks a million!

  • Woderful! She is always great! (^^) A fn from Japan (^^)

  • ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • Use an accordion, go to jail. It's the law. But I'd bail Bruce out on this one, at least after I'd had some time with Bonnie.

  • I wish someone had the video she did with Dennis Quaid!

  • She did a great video of this song with Denis Quaid; does anyone have it?

  • yes this videos is great!! I want it

  • Wonderful

    Thanks for sharing

  • thebest duet ive heard in a long time.

  • WOW what a great great song wow!!!

  • she was the first concert i ever went to, back in 1991. I was 4 years old...I'm seeing her again on thursday with taj!

  • Je l'ai vue pour la première fois dans une vidéo hommage à SRV. Steevie Ray Vaughan. I saw her for the first time in a video "tribute to SRV". How lucky u are to live in such a great country of Music. See u all. Fayçal from France

  • @WinstonRed so lucky! I've been listening to her since 1970 and still have a couple of LPs :)

  • Well, I FIRST heard Bonnie at a little dive on the south side of Chi-town called "Teresa's" -- it was the fall of 1974, Teresa's was tiny. There were about 15 people there, maybe 20 at the most. That bar was like Buddy Guy and Junior Wells' living room . . and she was just hanging out with them like she was one of the guys.

And playing the hottest slide guitar that any of us had ever heard!

  • Hey!That was fun....Let's do it again...

  • Haaa my babies!!!!

  • first time i saw bonnie was in high school (circa 76). outdoors in the summer, gorgeous day.

instead of just one slide, she had 5 little ones on each finger, and she absolutely rocked played lead slides.

best slide guitarist out there since Duane Allman (RIP!)

  • youre so lucky

  • i agree that she's a great slide player, but come on man, skydog is way above many famous guitarists...he is a slide king...

  • Maaaaaaaannnn!...just orgasmic!!!...Fiuuuuuuuuuii!!!....I'm gone!

  • Did Raitt write this song and was she the first to record it?

  • The song was originally written by John Hiatt and released on his 1987 album. Bonnie covered it and released it two years after that.

  • @unamuno42 is she awesome or what?

  • Such an awsome song!!!!

  • god she can play that thang.

  • Try keeping both feet flat to the floor. Impossible!!!!

  • This is what you'd call Natural Talent!

  • I saw Bonnie and Bruce on this tour. They did a song back to back (literally), just the two of them, sitting on the edge of the stage. It was one of those priceless moments you always remember.

Thats what I like about Bonnie. You can usually count on a surprise guest or two at a Bonnie show. Shes played with so many other artists. The list of people shes played with reads like a whos who of blues and rock.

  • I would loved to hear Hornsby rock the piano on this awesome tune. Jammin with an accordion? Well....With Bonnie Riatt, anything's possible.

  • Why doesn't anyone have the actual video of this song posted?

  • Close your eyes during that slide solo and you can hear Lowell George of Little Feat as Bonnie carries on and improves on the feat beat.

(note: she she is on like 5 feats album).

    2:57 on......

  • BADASS song, great performance. Bonnie = the best

  • Such a good time, watching this video..she is the "Queen of Sheba" rock on bonnie

  • Thanks for posting this great song. Gotta love the Road Tested album. I used to have a lot of fun playing this song in my band. It wasn't intentional, but our singer even had the red hair hehe. :)

  • MAN ! I can't tell you how much , I love Bonnie Raitt ! She's the HOTTEST thing, sportin' a Stratocaster, I can think of ! Ah, Love That Gurl !

  • Love this one!
