I love this recording so much! Sometimes I am almost addicted to it. You can feel her respect for Bach and the result is, in my opinion, a recording that is from a beauty that you don't hear every day.

It is the Chaconne from Bach's D minor violin partita, BWV 1004. The excerpt that begins at 2:48 is from the difficult end of the 1st part. Bach's Chaconne is about 15 minutes long, divided into 3 distinct parts, and is considered by many one of the greatest works in all western music.
