  • Hmm, this video is wierd. *starts cutting shirts.* No really, great job. This is helping me ALOT.

  • But as a "Ru" verb dont you conjugate it to Tabemasu for a present positive verb?

  • If I may ask something about "desu". You say "to be" and it's something I've been wondering too. Is it like "ser" in spanish. Can it mean "am" or "are" rather than "is". Like "watashi wa takai desu" as in "I am tall." Thank you, and thanks for making these videos.

  • @MrInsanity25 "desu" can basically mean both, I'm sure. It depends on context and how you're gonna use it. ^^ Like you said, if you say "watashi wa takai desu." You'd be saying "I am tall." not "I is tall." In Japanese, "are" and "is" both mean desu. Though, I'm not an expert, so don't take my advice to seriously. ^^'

  • @oOFudgePrincessOo That's what I was think like in spanish "ser" is "to be" which is am/is/are though in spanish every verb has 6 forms(5 used) and in japanese he says it's only past present or future(or I assume so). so if "desu" means to be then oki doki.

  • I heard you did or are planning to move back the the USA. Moving back to Denton by chance? Lot's of people here who could use a Japanese tutor. They might even pay you in beer. I brew my own, so I sure as hell would. haha

  • The sensei could've been a good teacher, minus all the cursings... ^^;

    I still subscribed, I think I will learn a lot here :)

  • If you're gonna come here you gotta eat or you're gonna die. XD

  • Lessons for weaboos.

  • @336forlife Hey, better than fucking Spanish!

I don't know why public schools chose fucking SPANISH for the secondary language... IT USED TO BE SPANISH AND FRENCH!

  • @NubeAndNuber I took german.

  • @336forlife Well, Middle School, anyways.

  • I wish I could drink

  • @Skutieos7 you cant? did u hurt your throat?

  • @Maatt28 16 here

  • @Skutieos7 Hehe thats the time where I started drinking. God I love living in Danmark. (or "Denmark" if you wanna be an idiot)

  • @Maatt28 the time when*

  • @Maatt28 lucky guy...

  • i luv the fact that theres an american guy somewhere out in japan recording himself while drawing on his fridge , praising the beetles and speaking a diffrent language.

    damn life is sweet.

  • @karltheawsum1 After learning all of his stuff, what book or whatever would you recommend I get to further my studying?

  • Can I say "is" and "are" in the same way? As in "desu? Thanks

  • @issueagent There is no "Is and "are" in Japanese. Thats what particles are for. Like wa and ga. Watashi WA or watashi GA could mean is am are and so on just depending on the context.

  • When you come here, youre going to eat food, or youre gonna die. lmao. best. fucking. teacher. ever.

  • Say what you want about his profanity, he knows what he is talking about and he likes what he is doing and it works. I am not even learning Japanese and have been watching his videos for pure entertainment/fun and I have picked stuff up and have even been able to make grammatical connections with Korean (current and third language I am learning). I will definitely go back to these videos when I learn Japanese, which unfortunately won't be for a few years.

  • Hahahahah, you don't cut a fucking shirt.

  • watashi wa 'anata' 'no' 'akachan' o tabetai.

    anata- You

    no- Possession Particle

    akachan-Baby

  • Thank you for telling me there are no plural fucking nouns.

Now I don't need to worry about deer or shit. Fuck yes.

  • 馬鹿先生.分かります。

  • do your own research and use common sense. a comment page on youtube is probably not the best place to find out how to refer to yourself in another language. also, offhand, namasensei is so much better than most language programs.

  • 14 people are fucking bitches.

  • @3:42 i think im gonna refer to myself as oresama

  • boku is for guys mostly is u say watashi you will sound girlish

  • @poli21 actually i've heard girls refer to themselves with boku, too as well as guys refer to themselves with watashi

  • @lalani1026 I wouldnt know, im a beginner, but thats what ive been told by japanese people

  • @poli21 well for the most part thats true, but it's not an absolute rule that girls cant use boku and guys cant use watashi

  • @lalani1026 no no, i know that, they just said that watashi is kinda girlish and because im a boy i should stick to boku

  • wait this is animestyle92 speaking. watashi is the mature and formal way in saying i. atashi is girlish. boku is immature childish and boyish. so if i were u id stick with watashi

  • NAMA / not OBAMA .. lol you make Tosh look like he needs 2 be on nickelodeon

i love your shit its great .. Kan pai.. bitch

  • Anata wa nihongo oshieru = You teach Japanese

    So desu ka

    Domo arigato

  • smart ass ahaha

  • brilliant alternate way of learning japanese!

  • boku is only for boys : (

  • @angeldust450 anyone can say boku, listen to a j-pop song. utada and boa always usin' boku, and they're girls. so it seems like it's not limited to just boys anymore...

  • LOL!

  • stop saying f** !! what's wrong with u !!! man :p

  • @freakloulou that's his teaching styl.. it's kinda brilliant actually because it makes an impression

  • This video is so engaging in an outlandish and awesome way.

  • technically, only guys can say "boku"...girls can't use this version of "I"

  • This made me LOL even harder at the Kiru part I laughed to hard XD but he forgot to tell the everyone the other forms of Taberu and nomu- Taberu-Tabemasu :D Pointless I motherfuckin kno ;D

  • Thanks mother-fucker! I have a wedding to go to in Kobe and I'm behind in my studies! Now I'm crackin' a pilsner and gettin' to it!

  • WTF??

  • no conjugation FTW!!!!

  • I'm Finnish, 16 years old and I can speak finnish, swedish, german, english and now I'm trying to learn japanese. Japanese is easiest language this far, thanks for good videos. Boku wa sensei o konomu。

  • @UltraSaatana666 good job!!! gambatta kudasai

  • FUCK THE FUCKING FUCKERS!

  • " when you come here you're going to eat food or you're gonna die....so you better fucking know this verb. "

    Simply irrefutable

  • I speak spanish as a native language... suck it... wear an apple....

  • What if I wanted to say: "I want to cut your shirt open, bitch" ?

  • best teacher ever... is he drunk? lol

  • SENSEI!!! I've been studying Japanese and I would like to know the difference in the "to be" verbs : desu, arimasu, and imasu. Please explain. Arigato gozai masu.

  • @juanjgg93 arimasu is when the subject is not living such as a desk and imasu are living things like trees and plants

  • @juanjgg93 desu = (copula), used when there is no real verb, simmular to how "to be" is used in English.

aru (arimasu) = to exsist, on object exsist at a possition or att all

iru (imasu) = same as aru but for persons.

  • arigatou gozaimasu = doumo arigatou????

  • Thank you!

  • This is ridiculously funny! XD

  • but you can't say boku when you're a girl, can't use ore either

  • Lol! Hilarious and u actually teach good, good job ^_^

  • good stuff

    this is thereal japanese

none of that "masu" crap no-one fucking even uses it unless they want to sound like a stuck-up prick.

boku wa seriously fucking impressed desu

  • Wait the fuck!

About the ways of saying "I"

Boku is used by childrens <.<

    watashi is for normal people

Ore is for people that think they're strong

    watasha is for old people.

    And that's all I know.

U probably know this shitz and u don't give a fuck about me, but i like to do "delicateded" corrections

  • Kiru=to behead to kill to murder....

to teach ? LOL OMG my teacher is a

    Murderer...LOL

  • Namasensei is correct, 教える(o shi e Ru)is to teach.

  • Lol man you're so funny i love this Bumnumba1 is numba1

  • I just searched "kiru" in a dictionary, and it says it means to kill. (Obviously it's adapted from fucking Engurishu) But the fucking dictionary doesn't compare to the knowledge of someone who actually fucking lives in Japan, so Arigato Gozaimasu Nama-sensei for letting me know of this shit!

By the way, I drink Cola instead of beer because I'm not yet in the legal age.

  • how the heck do you get all this thing in your dam head

  • I learned it with a -Masu ending, these -Ru endings is new shit to me lol, But the message is clear so whatev. :D

  • whats the name of the next lesson >?

  • Stopping my learnings to let you know that I'm having much fun and, of course, learning.

I wish you would stop with the beer because it SUCKS. Sider is the shit, bitch! LOL

Jokes aside, I really enjoy this. Thanks.

  • He doesn't fuckin drink beer, it's too fuckin expensive for that shit. FUCK. He's drinkin Haposhu, bitch.

  • I think your lessons are good, but sometimes your accent fails on R, I think it's a normal lack of attention of a teacher that teaches a foreign language. Thanks.

  • watch the culture moment you douchebag

  • Yeah, he's a good teacher. he uses alot of fucking profanity, but he devotes alot of time to this...you can tell he is passionate about it. Cool guy

  • @drewsky684 he seriously teaches me this

  • This just came to mind but dont the multiple meanings couse a shit load of misunderstandings?

  • is it me or is the only difficult part about japanese the huge number of letter and to be more accurate the massive number of kanji symbols?

  • Your accent is so -FUCKIN- American! I'm not sure if Japanese people would understand that -SHIT-! XD

But your lessons are a good idea -YOU BITCH-!

  • hes a teacher in japan , so yes they can understand him (apparently or he wouldn't teach there)

  • Your teaching style is fucking brilliant.

  • @usurper17 And your a brit whos retarded cuz you say fucking brilliant

  • @sulsaboy Well then stop saying awesome and it's even.

  • @facecomic ...No the problem is your using fucking and brilliant right next to each other and it sounds terrible and i never say fucking awesome

  • @usurper17 never the less...i love you <3

  • domo Arigato!

    Another great class xD

  • boku and ore are mainly for mails only

  • Comment removed

  • arigatou namasensei. sugoi ! ^^

  • damn right.

    YA BITCH!!!

  • you know when you say

watashi as in I. do you do

it wid a わ or a は for the wa bit.

    chrz bitch!

  • you use the character わ. You only use は (ha) when wa is a particle. otherwise when things are spelled with a wa, you use わ

  • わたし

I'm pretty sure it is only は when it's used as a particle.

  • as a partical its always は (ha) わたし is i then partical... so

    わたし(私)わ

  • As for kiru's contextuality, what if the topic is a serial killer who skins women then makes a suit out of their skin? "kiru" could go either way there...

  • AHAHaHAhahAHahAhaHAh this is hilarious!!

i wish i had you as a sensei!

  • This has been getting on my nerves: if I put "yaru zo (やるぞ) at the end of a sentence does it mean something like "I'm going to" or "I'll do"? :D

  • thanks to ur f*ing lessons im af*ing japanese aprendice !!!. Keep ur f*ing method teaching ure a f*king cool guy !!

  • Lol, your funny. You keep the lessons interesting.

  • do you know any good online japanese-english dictionaries?

  • 我は馬肉を食べる!

  • boku wa kuruma o tsukuru。

    I make a car.

  • In that case would this be correct for I cut a apple. Boku wa ringo o kiru.

  • yes

  • ok ok i think i get it, i have had alot of wine cause you kept saying drink and i'm a light weight but does this make sense.

"Boku wa hito o sono shieru"

am i saying i teach that person/dude or have I just typed aload of shit?

  • Watashi/Boku/Ore wa kono hito wo oshieteru. ^^

  • Just moved to Tokyo only knowing konichiwa and sayonarra. Good to see another mother fucker, teaching mother fucking nihongo the way it should be mother fucking taught. moto moto moto

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • you cant call your self "sensei".

    you must call yourself Kyoushi

  • sensei is the polite form so unless you are a superior to namasensei, then it is still sensei

  • or meijin

if that's how you spell it :P

    "Grand Master"

  • You are fucking awesome.

  • Doesn't boku only apply to males?

  • yea, boku, ore and watashi can all be used by guys. but watashi and boku are more gentle and polite. whereas ore is more rough and more masculine i guess.

chicks normally use "watashi" or slight variations of it.

  • boku wa Nihongo hitoshii !! :D

  • One there's no reason to curse so much because it's boring after a while. Two, boku isis used for men only. Women use watashi either it being formal or in informal. Men use boku informally. Men use watashi formally.

  • what the fuckin stupid piece of crap :D i can learn much better if the sensei is saying warui stuff xD

  • there are many different ways the same "I" in Japanese. theres watashi, ore, boku..... u knw wat i mean. but is there a difference between any of them and how many more are there

  • "And you don't fucking cut a shirt.. unless you're weird." You just never go old, man. Never :D

  • the key is the beer, bitch

  • why isnt it boku wa ringo o tabemasu ? why taberu ?

  • tabemasu is the polite form, taberu is the normal form

  • Because there is something known as honorifics in Japanese. Taberu is the plain way of saying eat or to eat. Tabemasu is a more respectful way of saying eat or to eat. You use the plain way when talking to an equal or subordinate. You use the polite way when talking to someone above you.

  • Pwwrfg ore

  • Ok, so this is my first time watching one of ur videos and I must say I am not that into the cursing but... then again....it helps to make me pay attention and pick up what your saying, lol....most people curse for emphasis and it works here. So...yea....thanks for the vids!!

  • Nama is probably related to a type of beer lol :P seeing how he is always drinking it wouldnt surprize me..

  • Comment removed

  • You are wrong. Look in a dictionairy.Taberu is to eat. To do is another verb so do eat would be a combination of two verbs.

  • Fuck You!

  • Dude, no offense or anything, but your sentence is actually typed 1. Wrong, and 2. Makes no sense. Your sentence SHOULD read "Nama sensei no bideo wa warui desu" but you wrote "Nama sensei san(-san isn't needed) wa warui bijio wo desu!?" You might want to re-learn those katakana and sentence particles "chief"....and (directed to Nama sensei) doesnt your name translate to "Naked Teacher?"

  • 1. this does make sense

    2. He doesnt give a flying fuck.

  • The video makes sense yeah, but my comment was directed towards "dancingneon", and I know he probably doesn't give a "flying" fuck, I just felt like noting his mistake. PEACE

  • OOPS Dx.

sorry bout that. i looked back at the comments and your right. LoL

  • LoL I just asked myself "WTF does that even mean?" When I read his failed attempt at hiragana and katakana....and Jin Kazama is a awesome character...

  • Me too. its donkey language. Heh thanks btw.

ur nick is kina cool but isnt it suppose to be seraphin?

  • Nah, it is Seraphim....I got the idea from ToS(Tales of Symphonia) one of my favorite RPG's....

  • AND YOU DON'T FUCKEN CUT A SHIRT!..OR YOU'RE WEIRD lol

  • Since I am a girl would I mainly say "Atashi" or "watashi" ? What do girls use the most...

  • Atashi

  • Arigatou gozaimasu. ^^

  • lol why do u wear a graduation cap in all the vids??

  • マリってんだろ...

  • namasensei is ii

  • "when you come here, youre gonna eat or you're gonna die. " LOLOLOL

  • boku is for men watashi for women

  • watashi is for everyone. i suppose the word boku is a remnant from the old days (actually current days) of male "supremacy", givin them a word for themselves lol.

  • 発音は最低だなぁw

  • what is that little w for....

  • I know, but everyone else should. >.>

  • Boku can only be used for men.

Say watashi if you want to be pretty formal.

Most people who are patient enough to sit through every cuss word here are probably male... but that's just stereotyping.

  • He dosn't give a fuck.

  • I'm sitting through it and I love the cursing. I'm not a male.

  • I'm not male either ^__^ And I don't really mind the cussing - got used to it after a lesson or two. And it really keeps your attention well (:

  • omfg u r freaking hilarious!!!!

    anata ga suki da yo!

  • actually kiru is a homophone because 'to cut' and 'to wear' each has their own different character lol

  • hahahhahha

  • great vid! :) the cursing helps to drill in the info into my skull

  • That's a good way of politeness

  • Jeremy how to spell beer in japanese???? i mean not the hoposhu the real bear

    Regards

  • this man is epic.

please teach more japanese. with beer. =D

  • I think I'm finally learning the particles thanks to you. Keep up the good work, and don't listen to all those Bitches, they don't know what the Fu// they're talking about. The important thing is you remember shi/ and I'm remembering this shi/

    <
