My grandfather worked tirelessly for this very cause, to bring justice--and water!--back to the Owens Lake. He would be very proud of the efforts being implemented today to see that it's a reality. - He would also be spitting nails at the DWP, for making it still, to this day, such a preposterous proposal to put into play!
This is great news. We get comments from guests who travel the 395 ... say they saw the birds.. ask about the lake etc. We wish God to rain 40 days and nights fill it back up. Yet again LA needs there swimming pools.
